Re: Article about 1972 Alice Cooper show
The Beatles had their records burned too. They were hardly the most dangerous band in the world.

Re: One tour you could revisit......
Welcome To My Nightmare - Liverpool Empire 1975.
I was only 11 and my sister (who was 20) refused to take me because she has a phobia of snakes. Alice didn't have the snake on that tour. :-(

Re: Pass the Gun around....Wow!
I bought Dada on LP when it came out. I didn't even know Alice had a new album out. Publicity was scare for it. I wasn't a great fan of Dada at first either. It's a quirky album that sneaks up on you with repeated listening. The fact that the opening track is very atmospheric might put some people o...

I'm surprised David Lee Roth isn't in there. I am also surprised Alice is rated above Nikki Sixx and Keith Richard.

Re: it really is Super Duper
Saw it in Liverpool last night. About 25 people in the audience. I think it is unfortunate that Glen is hardly mentioned. Michael Bruce is mentioned even less and John Tatum and John Speer are not mentioned at all. Having said all that, I really enjoyed the film. Just a pity some people weren't give...

Re: Is Alice still artistically relevant?
Apart from the early 70s, I don't think Bowie has ever been that artistically relevant. Bowie's talent, for me, is being able to see the next 'big thing, fashion, fad" whatever, early, and to jump on that bandwagon before than most other people. Like Hunter, I am not bothered whether Alice is artist...

Never seen that photo before. Thanks for posting.
It's been established that the chicken was at several concerts not just the Toronto Rock n Roll Revival gig.

Re: Hey Stoopid Expanded
I really like Look At You Over There Ripping The Saw Dust From My Teddy Bear. I don't think it was put on Special Forces because it didn't really fit in with the other songs and not because it wasn't a good song or performance.

Muscle of Love Album released 40 years ago
http://ultimateclassicrock.com/alice-co ... e-of-love/
Despite containing what are in my opinion 2 classic tracks Muscle of Love and Hard Hearted Alice and one good single Teenage Lament the album overall is a disappointment when compared to Alice's 4 previous albums.

Can't name just one. For me it's the Hunter/Wagner combo. Fitted together perfectly, both brilliant players.
