Re: Bob Ezrin-Past, Present And Future
Just for fun, here's the songs that Ezrin has a co-writer credit on since 2008. I Am Made Of You Caffeine The Nightmare Returns A Runaway Train Last Man On Earth The Congregation I'll Bite Your Face Off Disco Bloodbath Boogie Fever Ghouls Gone Wild When Hell Comes Home What Baby Wants I Gotta Get Ou...

Re: Bob Ezrin-Past, Present And Future
The Kiss thing is correct in that bob wanted to do psycho circus but didn't have time. I think if he did he could have made something at least approaching good. the destroyer reimagined or whatever they call it, is the same album, reproduced with some different guitar lines here and some different ...

I'm more suprised that they dropped B$B then that they didn't play Roses.

Re: Top Ten ( Worst ) Tracks
Ubangi Stomp. He should have been locked up for that one. Horrible. The trouble is Ubangi Stomp keeps the company of Damned if you Do and No More Love in Your Public Convenience. Its a bit like a government releasing bad news on a day of other negative stories. Alice Cooper is my favourite artist/b...

Re: Thoughts On And Ranking The New Album
The only difference between GAG and YALOYF is that Michael played on those. He's on 'Rats' as well. In fact they all are. Not sure why they are advertising it as just two original band tracks unless the credits on the album are wrong. I'm guessing because those two were the only ones that were both...

Re: Thoughts On And Ranking The New Album
I think at least part of the reason is that much of the album is recorded while the band are actually out on the road and so not available to Ezrin. I *THINK* the way it generally works is that Alice and Bob (and Tommy?) get together and listen to the demos of the songs under consideration, includi...

Don't know if it's a new change or if it's been so the last couple of shows but last night in Stockholm Paranoiac Personality had now taken Escape's old place in the setlist after Only Women Bleed.

Re: [Spoiler] Obscure Song Coming Out at Wacken
There is no such thing as the trilogy. It is just a fan made up thing. Really? I don't know if Alice himself ever called it a trilogy but three songs following each other all about a woman named Gail (There's a whisper of Gail at about 2:10 in RoWL), also always played in album order on the "Live I...

Re: More tracks to hear...
Must say, I like the tracks a lot so far. I liked Paranoiac Personality overall but these sound better. I'm pleasantly surprised that the lyrics to "Genuine American Girl" doesn't seem to be that jokey or transphobic, with the only real joke being that it's a man singing them. It just seems like a s...

Re: millie and billie question
Well, it's Alice's voice calling for Millie. I remember reading something about how it's supposed to be Billie being in another room and watching Millie get lobotomized through the window. Hence the buzzing drill/saw sound at the end. Can't remember where I read it though and if it was just speculat...

Re: Spend Your Night With Alice Cooper Tour!
Sixx AM are fast becoming my favorite band so was great to see both Nikki and DJ jump with Alice in Denmark . I know DJ was estactic to get the chance to join Alice . Out of curiosity how did Alice introduce DJ ? Im sure I heard him say "from Guns n Roses" which would be a little odd . DJ did play ...

Re: Nobody Likes Me
Looked at Life and Crimes again and it says "Nobody Likes Me" is previously unreleased and recorded in 1968. Is that incorrect?
The Life & Crimes version also sounds a lot tighter and more like a finished recording than the Old School version.

Nobody Likes Me
So, there's been two different official CD-releases of Nobody Likes Me, on Life and Crimes and Old School, and both are listed as demos. But it was also released as a single with the Killer tour programme right? What I'm wondering is which version was released as a single? Was it either of the demos...

Re: is It Time For Alice To Experiment A Bit Like Bowie?
If Alice quit touring and didn't release music for 10 years then maybe he'd get better press as well, but would we really want that? No, it wouldn't be the same. Bowie is respected by a broader base of people as an artist. "Where Are We Now?" was a pensive song with an interesting video. It retaine...

Re: is It Time For Alice To Experiment A Bit Like Bowie?
Somehow Bowie manages to stirr up things with whatever he does : when The Next day came out, you simply could not not know it. It was a subject even in the regular, non music press. The Next Day managed to get a lot of press since it was his first album in 10 years and it was suddenly announced whe...

Re: HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES TRACK LISTING REVEALED
I actually think it's easier to hear Alice than Mccartney. But maybe that's just me. Simple but kinda fun. I'm not that familiar with the original so I don't really mind the pretty straightforward version.
Really looking forward to getting the album tomorrow.

Re: Goes to Hell tour
Well I wasn't alive in the 70's either but wasn't the Nightmare show with I Never Cry added in Australia in 77, about a year after the Goes to Hell tour was planned? Seems like a fairly reasonable time to rest before going on tour again. What I'm curious about regarding the tour is: was the stage an...
