Re: More tracks to hear...
I prefered Paranormal as a track to Genuine American Girl, the latter being very uninspiring and dull!! As much as I like Neal Smith as a drummer, his drum work on Genuine American Girl is nothing to write home about. I will listen again, but I think I would rather wait for the release of the album a...

Re: New album update
I like the single, very clear production, also using the words paranoic and vicious rumours seems like a little nod to the song Vicious Rumours "Vicious rumours, paranoic fears"!

Re: Tour 2017!
The resale of these tickets on sites like Getmein is disgusting and pure touting, and what makes it worse, these sites legitimise the Touts. Considering how far in the future this gig is, I can't believe how Ticketmaster can deem resale of this seats as legitimate, have all these people bought ticke...

Re: Shep Gordon:They Call Me Supermensch.
Trying to avoid spoilers: Shep does acknowledge Cindy, the arrangement with Joe Greenberg for splitting up as managers, was something I had not heard before. As for the group break up. I feel Shep explains his side of the case in a little more detail. The only thing I did find bizarre and I will rev...

Re: Shep Gordon:They Call Me Supermensch.
Will take a pass simply because Gordon has no credibility in my book and reading propaganda is not my idea of a good read. Oh and I couldn't care less about cooking for celebrities. You have to read the book surely to form an opinion over whether you find it credible, Shep was there, I wasn't and t...

Re: Shep Gordon:They Call Me Supermensch.
It is very enlightening, yet again it's Shep's interpretation of what happened, but he does seem to give a honest appraisal of what he thought occurred, especially with regard to Joe Greenberg, earlier in the book he suggests Joe should write his account on what happened!!! I think what I have gained...

Shep Gordon:They Call Me Supermensch.
I am reading the Kindle edition and have got to the part of the band break up, which makes for interesting reading and how Joe Greenberg moved on from the band. I have to say it is an entertaining read so far and great to have Shep's perspective on the events. No spoilers from me, but it should make...

Just watched Alice and the band (on You Tube) doing 'Woman of Mass Distraction' from 10th May, I thought it sounded great and fresh!!

Re: Was Trash A Fluke?
I can't remember the amount of free copies I got, but it was the industry norm, if a single was priority the Reps would push as much free stock on you as they could (Though I would limit what I would receive from BMG distribution, who use to charge the VAT on what they supplied free of charge). Reps...

Re: Was Trash A Fluke?
I had a record shop during the time Trash came out in the UK, I was a chart return shop and this meant the sales of product through my shop helped make up the charts. When the single Poison was released, it was treated as a priority release, the Reps from Epic had to push the record as hard as they ...

Re: Dennis Dunaway book reviews
Well, that isn't the impression that Bob Greene and Michael Bruce gave. True, but it didn't go any further! Of course. There is almost no band I can think of that did not go through the same, or a similar, trajectory, where creativity, demanding schedules, pressure, alcohol, drugs, fame, egos and mo...

Re: Dennis Dunaway book reviews
I finished reading the book today, I enjoyed the style of writing and especially the early years, though book didn’t really tell me anything I didn’t already know in regard to the split. It is clear to me that band were a close cohesive group in the early years and slowly but surely this began to de...

Informative interview, nice insight into the Hollywood Vampires project and that Glen Buxton is not overlooked as some may of thought.

Re: Why was Trash such a big hit over the superior Hey Stoop
I had a record shop at the time and it was a Chart Return shop, so my sales figure were used to help calculate the chart position, as a consequence the sales reps from the all the record companies targeted shops like mine to promote their current artists. The initial push on Hey Stoopid the single a...

Re: Your biggest disappointment in Alice's career
Biggest disappointment has been that Vince seems to be writing material targeted at a very young audience. With my own age at 47 - I just really can't connect with the new stuff at all.. One of the reason I don't post here, is because of the statements above, referring to Alice as Vince, it is clear...

Re: Along came the Super Duper reviews
I don't know why anyone would be bothered by what the critics have to say, if I had taken any notice of their views, I wouldn't even be listening to Alice Cooper!! I am looking forward to going to see this documentary in a cinema with what will probably be a pro Alice audience, then I will make up m...
