Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour
Peter Frampton? Ace Frehley? Praying for some solo dates in the States at the beginning of the year. I won’t be attending if it’s split time with either of those two. Not seen anything suggesting these a co-headline shows. It's Alice plus a well known support act. No reason at this stage to think A...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour
Going by the tour name, this is obviously going to be another Greatest Hits tour, which, at this point in Alice's career, that's completely understandable (as long as there are a few gems like a Pain, or Grim Facts, thrown in there for us hardcore fans)...but I REALLY HOPE the stage show is going to...

Re: Alice Coopergroup - Record Store Day release
Fans deserve to see these guys . they’re not getting any younger, and I think the whole situation with how the band ended is sad. The band didn’t know it was over until it was over. I think it would just be respectable to give some closure to it. Not just for the band, but for Alice himself. As muc...

Re: Alice Coopergroup - Record Store Day release
Understand the excitement about this but personally I’d rather have new material to listen to. When I saw them in Glasgow last year it fulfilled a lifetime ambition but it also closed the book for me on the original band. I’ll probably buy this at some point if it gets some form of full release but...

Re: Alice Coopergroup - Record Store Day release
Really $40/$60 for what is basically an Ep? I'm sorry that a vinyl edition is not in my price range. Sure the goodies help but as long as I feel I can hear it down the road,(& some tracks of which I've had the pleasure) I'm not that much of a completest. Sorry to say. :( $40 is a fair price for wha...

Re: 1972 Pittsburgh Three Rivers Stadium Footage
The School's Out promo video is mostly Hollywood Bowl footage, but there is a shot that looks exactly as I remember Three Rivers Stadium looking https://www.bilibili.com/video/av14404675/ Yes, that's Three Rivers Stadium. There is more footage than this, I've seen it. Let me know if you find it aga...

I think the footage in Super Duper is from the Hollywood Bowl show (with the fans entering and the guy selling the program) - The School's Out promo video is mostly Hollywood Bowl footage, but there is a shot that looks exactly as I remember Three Rivers Stadium looking https://www.bilibili.com/vide...

Re: Cold Cold Coffin - Dennis Dunaway
Someone that has contact with the Alice camp should let them know about this - I can't see why they haven't shared it yet on any of the social media sites. It's not like they haven't shared stuff before. They really pushed Nita's kickstarter with multiple posts, and even post stuff about Co-Op. This...

Re: Cold Cold Coffin - Dennis Dunaway
I hope/believe I know who it is (It's up to them to reveal that if they wish) and if correct they are welcome here. They are closely connected to Dennis and I assume just trying to help promote DD's project and make sure everyone is aware of it. Nita's kickstarter hit it's target within a few hours...

Re: A Paranormal Evening at The Olympia
It would’ve made more sense to record one of the UK shows featuring the original band because it would’ve made this release much more essential and important to the discography.

Re: A Paranormal Evening at The Olympia
First review I have seen https://www.loudersound.com/reviews/alice-cooper-a-paranormal-evening-at-the-olympia-paris-album-review Spot the one awkward mistake Besides the mistake of missing the 1 track from Paranormal that is on the live album, this is a pretty spot on review. "Pain" and "The World ...

Re: Tour 2018!
I do very much wish that Pain was still in the setlist. I'm not really surprised by there being no change in the setlist last night from the previous run of dates, since it is a continuation of the same tour. And more importantly, everyone was CRAZY BUSY on the "break" from this tour. Yeah, just wi...

Re: Tour 2018!
I was going to go to 3 of the shows in the next 2 weeks but I’m passing. So disappointing to see the same setlist/show for the last 3-4 years with little changes. I’m glad I went to Nashville last year because it was really special to see the original lineup perform. Until more reunion shows or a fu...

Re: Tour 2018!
Just as an FYI to anyone going to one of the first two shows of the upcoming leg, Nita has posted that she will be missing those two shows to attend her sister's wedding. Darned fine reason to miss, I'd say! I might have to catch those first 2 shows then! She should feel free to take some more time...

Re: Sorry,....Hollywood Vampires....
I I also saw bucket head and wow, yeah the guy is nuts (on stage and in studio at least) but man he can play like no one else. he was fantastic, not G'N'R for sure but amazing and Chinese democracy is a stunning album on its own merits. (but again its all just my opinion) Chinese is the only GnR re...

Re: Sorry,....Hollywood Vampires....
Nita Strauss at the end of an Alice show always gets the second loudest response from fans (right next to Alice of course). She is a tremendous talent that has added so much to Alice's band in my opinion. I was recently having a discussion with a group of people who spent as much time talking about...

Re: Tour 2018!
I expect more or less the same. Alice just wrapped up the Vampires tour and is only taking about a three week break or so. There may be a song or two changed such as they did "Serious" the last leg of the tour. I could see them bringing back something like "The World Needs Guts" (which I prefer to ...

Re: Sorry,....Hollywood Vampires....
First, let me say anything the great Nita Strauss is involved in, I am buying. I can't wait for her solo album and I love what she has brought to Alice's band and I hope they do an album together as I miss the soaring guitar solos, etc. I don't have a ton of interest in the Hollywood Vampires proje...
