WTMN on Broadway

Well, put Bertolino in front. He'll do it and will do better than anyone else!

Re: 40 years ago today

Did Brighton, all three shows in London and the first night in Manchester. Then we headed home to Sweden on a 12 hour boat trip from Harwich to Esbjerg, Denmark 6 hours byn train to Copenhagen and finally the boat from Copenhagen to Malmö. It was worth it :) Brought a Super 8mm film camera to Bright...

Eric McFadden Tribute

Eric McFadden recently made a peculiar acoustic tribute to Alice Cooper, in a very good way. I give it thumbs up and I believe 'Laughing At Me' and 'Former Lee Warmer' are my favourites amongst others gems. If you haven't heard it then have listen here (or on Spotify): https://www.youtube.com/playli...

Re: Same setlist time after time

Leaving aside the elitism, it would be a brave and selfish artist who did that. Do you really think anyone is going to take the chance of reducing their audience rather than increase it? David Bowie tried it and it didn't end too well. In the early-mid seventies I liked Bowie as much as Alice. I wa...

Re: Same setlist time after time

I agree in every word TodayMueller writes and I get what most of you other says but the resaon I brought it up is that the causual fans probably won't care about the original Alice Cooper group on stage I don't even think that they would like it as much as going to the nowdays "AC matine". But for u...

Same setlist time after time

When Alice, Dennis, Michael and Neal doing an public gig. Why do they always have to play the same boring songs? 6 songs from a huge catalogue of great songs that the die hard Alice Cooper fan is sick of hearing. It would be really nice if they left out all "hits" the next time and played for Instan...

I remember when Battle Axe was released and I listened to it the first time, it sounded more Alice Cooper to me than Lace & Whiskey. Many great songs on Battle Axe but the production lacks...

Re: Dennis, Michael and Neal join Alice at his show

Fantastic- loved seeing the three amigos joining in- I reckon one of the guitarists, maybe Tommy, plays a bit of Love Gun guitar at about 4min 55 secs in. Splendid stuff and loved the second camera angle-a treat! Ta To me it first sounded like Tommy played a part from the solo on Snowblind from Ace...

Re: 3 questions

No shows since 2001? Have you given up on seeing him live and if so why? I've seen and met him after 2001. The last show must have been Gothenburg 2012. I'll enter a show again when he bring in the remaining original members (Derringer replacing Buxton) or putting on the special forces costume agai...

Re: Live at wacken

Well.... I bit the bullet and made an order from Amazon Germany yesterday and paid about £61,50 for it. The strange thing is that it seemed it came from Amazon and not a third party seller. I also saw that it will be released in the US next week for half the price but shipping double it up. BTW, is ...

Re: Live at wacken

I totally missed this one. I scrolled Amazon UK and DE and seeing that the limited vinyl version is for sale in on the german site at a price of €67.97 Euro and in UK £71.02, which is more expensive and it's also on eBay for €89.99. I believe those are third part sellers? What did it went for when i...

Re: The Producers

Everyone seems to forget Roy Thomas Baker and Flush the fashion. Raw punch up front production. The same goes for Special Forces with Richard Podolor. Smashing up front fat sound. I love the production of LiTD and Killer and Ezrin does an excellent job there. Then after that it gets a little "too we...

Re: OWB as you've never heard it before!

Ths is in my opinion the best ever recorded OWB. I never heard of Chris Farlowe before but stumbled on this record in the record store back in the day when it was released in 1976. It's my all time favorite OWB with "such power and dignity"

Re: Super Duper Deluxe 4-Disc Version - US

I was in Berlin yesterday and stumbled on the Deluxe version at Saturn. Nice find. :) The Cindy Lang footage was hilarous. I haven't seen that one before. I was a little disapointed watching Montreal 1971. But I guess that's because I had quite a lot from the footage before and thought that t...

Re: it really is Super Duper

I saw it in Copenhagen tonight and I agree with all of you. But as someone that has "lived" with Alice since early 1972 I was a bit surprised that quite many dates showned in the "timeline" were wrong. For instance the Paris 1972 interview was dated 1970 for some reason. Also a bit disapointed that ...
