Re: New single - 'Our Love Will Change The World'

I just heard it. I love the new song...it reminds me of "Because".....for the reason that the lyrics seem innocent....but, when Alice uses them..the lyrics and song become sick & twisted...I will be smiling for the rest of the day. I have never heard of Outrageous Cherry...now, I can learn about the...

Re: Flush the Fashion 40th Anniversary

Flush The Fashion is the beginning of the "blackout" period, and honestly, my favorite era. I know he was in terrible physical health..but, really, the songs from this time are just....fantastic. Flush The Fashion is a great album: Clones, Pain, Leather Boots, Aspirin Damage, Nuclear Infected, Model...

Re: Great Interview With Alice on Rolling Stone Music Podcas

I think if everyone here cooperated...we could come up with some original questions that would be enlightening for every fan. Here's a question: If making albums now is just for your fanbase, why not build a setlist that caters to that fanbase, by omitting certain overplayed tunes in favor of more o...

Re: Great Interview With Alice on Rolling Stone Music Podcas

Personally, I am waiting for the interview between Si and Alice....I mean, who better to quiz Alice on the past? 20 questions....no less. Is there a petition we can get started?

listened to it while washing dishes in my kitchen.....I enjoyed it. Some of the questions were reruns but, I still wanted to hear what Alice had to say. I like the part about Taylor Swift...

Re: Genuine American Girl

The history of Alice bending the gender lines is quite evident throughout his discography....and tend to be the best songs (imho).....songs like "Never Been Sold Before" dealing with male prostitution, "King Of The Silver Screen" is a fantastic "coming out" song...."Prettiest Cop On The Block" is po...

Re: Alice on Eddie Trunk Sirius XM Show this Friday

The most exciting part of the whole interview is when Alice mentioned the Hollywood Vampires in Dracula's Castle. Period. It will be completely ridiculous to pass up an opportunity to record the album and film it in this setting. Period. I rest my case. Okay....and maybe about the ACG being onstage ...

Re: For all the American friends of the site

Personally, I find it offensive that there is a "Garth Brooks" station and a "Guns N Roses" station on XM/Sirius Radio....but, not "Alice Cooper".....with 27 albums, you would think there is enough material to share with the world.

Trivia: Ralph Morrison-violinist

I have recently made the acquaintance of Ralph Morrison. Who is that? Well, he is a violinist. He was my guest this week at my house. We had talked about music and musicians and, then the conversation took a turn for the better. We were discussing Alice Cooper (of course), and he made the revelation...

Re: THEORY: What if Alice Cooper hid the setlist in the song

Okay, so this (imaginary or real) setlist is shaping up to be...um, Killer. In no particular order, we got: Billion Dollar Babies Vicious Rumours Generation Landslide Go To Hell Elected Desperado You Drive Me Nervous Poison Slick Black Limo Trash No Man's Land The Black Widow (thanks, Pitkin88) Yeah...

Billion Dollar Babies Vicious Rumours Generation Landslide Go To Hell Elected Desperado You Drive Me Nervous Poison Slick Black Limo Trash No Man's Land The Black Widow (thanks, Pitkin88) and I just realized that "Yeah Yeah Yeah" is mentioned in The Sound Of A.... this is far from "coincidental".......

THEORY: What if Alice Cooper hid the setlist in the songs?

On Paranormal, there are so many references and suggestions to other songs, it seems a little odd. Was there a reason for it? What if the new setlist included all the songs quoted in the new album? Billion Dollar Babies Vicious Rumours Generation Landslide Go To Hell Elected Desperado You Drive Me N...

Ahhhh Guttertrash....so faithful with the negative point of view.....so sorry you're unhappy, but, your words are unconvincing to me....I AM IMPERVIOUS.

I have played the whole album 15 times today and I love it....the whole album....yep. DEFINITELY, PARANORMAL.

Re: Thoughts On And Ranking The New Album

The entire album has been on repeat since this morning.....7th time playing as I write this....I am forming my feelings about the album as I listen. Good news: I love it....but, why? 1) self-references are funny, 2) production is great, 3) musical variety is good. Bad news: I don't like feeling like...
