Re: Classic Rock pack

orderd mine from Amazon and it arrived here in New Zealand today, according to there email to me it was shipped 4 days ago so not bad timing from once side of the world to another  Just out of curiosity, when they sent you a confirmation email to say it had been posted, what was the estimated...

I read this in (I believe) the press release and thought of it when I first heard Ke$ha sing, "I'm gonna drain your veins and bathe in your blood." I assume she wrote that line.

Re: W2MN .. REVIEWED

So I've had about a week to become acquainted with Welcome 2 My Nightmare and here are my thoughts... First, I'll put things in context. The last classic Alice Cooper album, for me, was 1991's Hey Stoopid. There was not a bad song on that album and the big Desmond Child-style choruses were to die fo...

Has anyone noticed that Runaway Train sounds a bit like Dance Yourself To Death?
That was my first thought as well. Both have a distinct Stones-like melody.

Re: iTunes Pre-Orders w/ Samples

Wow those samples really offer a better insight into the album, every new second of material makes me more excited! The only track I'm not liking is Disco Bloodbath Boogie Fever, I cannot see myself warming to that one. What Baby Wants has single written all over it. I was one of those who could not...

Re: W2MN - Audio samples of all songs - Big Spoiler Alert

Great to hear AC being experimental. I guess the chances of W2MN having the same floorless track-record (excuse the pun) as the original are out the window though...'Disco Bloodbath Boogie Fever' & 'Ghouls Gone Wild' :( I really liked the Ghouls Gone Wild sample. Especially the last 15 seconds whic...

Re: W2MN - Audio samples of all songs - Big Spoiler Alert

Ok i have heard "Runaway Train", "Ill Bite Your Face Off", and "Caffiene" in full on his radio show the other night and i loved all 3 songs. DAMN this overseas Amazon site for posting samples LOL I do not want to spoil this album for myself till i get it in my hands but temptation is settling in BA...

Re: W2MN - Audio samples of all songs - Big Spoiler Alert

It sounds so versatile, I'm loving it! How good does Ghouls Gone Wild sound!? Something to Remember Me By is going to be incredible also.

I'm already absolutely in love with Caffeine and I Gotta Get Outta Here (having heard the full songs).

Re: Nights with Alice Cooper

Question.. the 3 songs that Alice played are they played in the first hour of the show or are they mixed in through the whole 4 hrs? It may be different depending on which station you're listening to but to give you a rough idea: I'll Bite Your Face Off opens the show. Caffeine is about one hour an...

Re: Nights with Alice Cooper

Now I've had a bit of time to digest what I've heard and had a few listens to each (I was shuffling between Australian radio stations that aired the show from 6, 7 and 8 respectively so that I could hear the songs a few times.) I'm a big fan of Caffeine, it's probably the quirkiest Alice has been si...

I´m listening to the show right now.
The show airs hours in advance in Australia. I'm talking about the show that you will hear this evening.

Re: Nights with Alice Cooper

Runaway Train: I missed the intro to this one. You would almost swear it was a lost Rolling Stones track. The melody has a lot in common with Alice's other Stones replica, Dance Yourself to Death from Flush the Fashion. Interesting. I'll have to hear the whole thing a few more times to make up my mi...

Re: Nights with Alice Cooper

Next up is Caffeine. This one contains the typical sinister Alice vocals. I really enjoy the verses (especially the first one) and the build up to the chorus. The chorus is quite bizarre, it reminds me of Prettiest Cop on the Block from Special Forces. The whole song has a Zipper Catches Skin vibe t...

Re: Nights with Alice Cooper

*Spoilers* Alice opened the show with I'll Bite Your Face Off. My first impressions: Very Stones-y. More polished than expected. It doesn't really kick you in the teeth like I expected it to (although that observation may have more to do with the fact that I'm listening via an online stream). The ch...

Re: Alice Cooper Old School Boxset

For those of you in the UK or USA complaining about the cost of the box . Red Eye records in Australia , perhaps Australia's best record shop is selling the box set for AUD$683.00 !! ( about US$700 ) Not sure how many takers they will have at that price but they must think they can move it. Good th...

Re: New Alice Cooper Album On The Way : Opinions And Wishes!

Sorry if i upset any of the younger Alice fans but i would love to here Alice make an album for us older fans. An album about regular subjects, life, death, love, loss, betrayal, the state of the world etc etc. He made a very similar album to the one you are requesting just four years ago, it was ca...
