Re: Tour Between Alice And Marilyn Manson COnfirmed In Alice

The master. is cool... the master of madness is silly, even if it is written on a Alice Cooper website. And yeah, I do think Manson sucks... saw him last year, went in without any expectations and was deeply disappointed... one of the worst shows I ever saw. Sorry, if that offends you, just speaking...

Re: Tour Between Alice And Marilyn Manson COnfirmed In Alice

Ooops, no I don't! But it's still a silly "title" for an artist. It's madness to have them tour together, but no one needs to be a master of that. "Shock therapy" would have been the better name for the tour.

LOL seriously?? "Master of Madness"?? Is that a coveted title? Which sad fool wants to be a master of madness? LOL some people are stupid.

Absolutely not!

And like I said before, Mansion hasn't much of a show either and what's more important, he doesn't even have stage presence.

Re: Alice in Crans Montana 14 March!

Oh, yes... I might do the sneaking thing too. No way I'm gonna stand there for 5 hours watching 3 bands I have absolutely no interest in. I think Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are big enough to have some people who occupy the front and then leave once they're done. It worked like a charm in Avenches w...

Re: Tour Between Alice And Marilyn Manson COnfirmed In Alice

I think this would have been a bad idea 3 or 4 years ago, but I think his performances have been 100% better since he released Born Villain. His voice is almost back to how it was in the 90's. Just my opinion but he sounds really good lately. I can't wait for more info lol. Really? He managed to be...

Re: Alice in Crans Montana 14 March!

^^Well, I did find another option, which is pretty much Autobahn all the way except the last 90 km, which would require to be on the train for 15 min between Kandersteg – Goppenstein. None of these options mentioned so far are ideal (even though the train thing sounds fun), but somehow I really don'...

Re: No opening Is a Good thing

Danielle, maybe it's just me - but you do seem to be a little narrow minded. We are all big Alice fans, but that surely doesn't mean you have to demonstrate disrespect for every one else? Yep. There is definitely some ignorance going on. That one kinda slipped me by: More, they copied Alice with th...

Re: Alice in Crans Montana 14 March!

Well, I would be coming from Austria and yes, Google tells me that Berne, Fribourg and Montreux is the quickest, but that's about 100 kms more, than coming directly. But as that other road is obviously closed I guess I wouldn't have much choice.

Re: No opening Is a Good thing

"sing very bad"? They are a rock band. And for that they sing like what is expected of a rock band. Dee Snider is one of the better frontmen and voices out there. Wow, Dee Snider is ugly!? And that's a criteria for a good or bad show? Geez, I guess I missed that GQ issue where Alice was a cover mode...

Re: Alice in Crans Montana 14 March!

^So obviously you drive to Crans Montana from the west. Do know anything about coming from the east? Motorway 2 until Andermatt and then road 19 (Furkastrasse). A stupid idea in the winter?

Edit: Okay... it kinda looks like that street is closed in the winter.

Re: No opening Is a Good thing

^^Oh, shut up. The reason I went to that particular UK tour was Twisted Sister. I wouldn't have went, had they not opened. I would be willing to bet that Dee Snider's voice is in better shape than Alice's. And that London show was seated... you could have just arrived later, if it was that horrible ...

^^Wow! That sucks. Yeah, you don't really think about things like that and hope everything goes well. But those are the war stories, afterwards they are fun... like at Rocksound Festival '07 desperately trying to find the car on the pitch black field (with not really having paid attention where I pa...

Re: Alice in Crans Montana 14 March!

^^Yeah. It was. I guess it was rather naive (or stupid) to drive up there without chains. After a long search we were able to make somebody sell us chains.

Re: Alice in Crans Montana 14 March!

^^Yeah. I hope that is true. We went skiing once. Stayed overnight, the next they, when we wanted to leave, we were supposed to have snowchains (? Schneeketten) and didn't have any and all stores were closed.

Re: Alice in Crans Montana 14 March!

^^Yeah, I found that out too, in the meantime... the tube and the moon... it helps to read ;) it also says on the website that it's easy to reach with every car. I'm assuming they are talking about the winter, it's obviously no problem in the summer. ;)

Re: Alice in Crans Montana 14 March!

^^Oh, joy. ;) I do have winter tires... not sure though if I want to drive up a snowy mountain road. Really have to think about that. :/ Another question, do all the bands play back to back or are there several stages? There are 5 bands on that day. Edit: I found a pretty cool panorama picture of th...

Geez, what kind of place is this? In the middle of the mountains? Kinda a bitch getting there. Kinda close, but it takes hours to get there. Have to think about that one.
