I'm finally going to buy my copy later on today. It's been long wait. It sucks that overseas has to wait.

Politics SUCK!!! A boring bunch of liars! (Remember, this is just my opinion). Who gives a crap who Alice supports, it doesn't change the music. And speaking of music, wasn't this thread originally about the B$B DVD?

Unfortunately, it hasn't come out yet here in Ottawa (at least where I checked). I asked a guy at the store about it and he didn't even know about it. Does Canada get a later release date? It was disappointing to go to few stores and come home empty handed. :( Oh well, hopefully soon! The AC main w...

I think all three options are all equally important but I had to go with music. At least for me anyway. I heard "Love It To Death" when I was about 4 and it scared the shit out of me but I was hooked by the sound of the band, thus my ears fell in love with Alice Cooper music.

I think you're right about that. Alice is always good for some name-dropping. Easy to visulize compared to refering to somebody that nobody knows at all.

Now that I've had a few weeks to listen to this album, I'm liking it more and more. As a whole, I like it better than "The Eyes..." and "Dragontown". Weird little thing I noticed (as I'm sure everyone has) in the booklet. Eric Singer's picture is with the rest of the guys but it's Tommy Clufetos pl...

This is another favorite off the album. It would have fit on Dragontown. It's the drum sound in particular that made me think that. It has a nice groove to it, it wouldn't surprise me to hear it in a strip club!;)

I now think he was trying to sound like Dr John, which makes sense. He succeeds. I'd say that's a little more accurate than the Stones. I like the feel of this song. Definately didn't expect what I heard the first time I heard it. With the title "Zombie Dance", I thought it'd mabye be more heavy or...

I'm not into Rap or Rap/Rock but this track after a few listens is tolerable. What I like about it is the chorus line: "If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything". Again word play is always something that catches my attention and Alice is one the best when it comes that.

The band does a great job on this one. Alice sounds great as well. I like the effect of the false ending then coming back stronger with the guitar solo.

Stonesy this one. A good groove too. The lyrics made me think it was a veiled comment on STD's!!! Anybody else catch that? (no pun intended!!!) :D

I like this one. Lyically it is the funniest song on the album, for me anyway. It's less than 3 minutes so it doesn't run the risk of being boring or annoying.

This is my second least favorite on the album (Stand is the first). It's not a horrible song, just in the company of all the other songs on the album it's not one of the best (for me). It does sound like it would be right at home on "Flush The Fashion".

I thought this was a good choice as the album opener. The intro sounds a bit like Judas Priest's "You Got Another Thing Coming" but we soon find out that is Alice introducing us to the trip that is "Dirty Diamonds". I like the play on words in the title.

It's got a Be My Lover-ish feel to it. Pretty easy to listen to. Another good track. I did catch the similarity with this song and "Dance Yourself To Death".

Alice could make a medley out of Perfect/Be My Lover/Dance Yourself To Death.

Ironically, this is one of the first songs on the album I took to quite quickly. The music compliments perfectly the story that is being told. The spoken part in the middle reminded me of Crazy Little Child's spoken passage. Again, Alice's humor won me over with this song.

First, I'd like to see an extended video, like 'Thriller", made for this. It'd make a great mini-movie! Second, does the very first part reming anyone else of the music in the WW1 scenes in Charlie Brown's Great Pumpkin?! I agree with the mini-movie zoogirl. He should get Quenton Tarantino to do it...

not a chance it was Burley Chassis in the 1971 JB film

I have a bootleg from the early '70's and Alice sings "Diamonds are forever..." in place of the line: "But I still did destroy her..." from Halo Of Flies.
