Re: Chris Cornell 1964-2017

Chris battled with alcoholism ....I know he stopped..Alice claimed to help celebrities battle their addictions ...I wonder if Chris was one of them.

Bernie Taupin

I am as many others are excited about the ACG album in the works.

I would love to see Bernie & AC together again (Minus the drugs) Elton John hasn't rocked out on albums for a while. I bet Bernie would have some great ideas for a ROCKING AC album!!!

Re: Alice & Bowie

I have seen photos of Bowie 1990 & beyond with Iggy , Lou Reed,...these were Alice's buddies as well.

Perhaps they never crossed paths as time went on.

Alice & Bowie

I did read some of the context here on the Sickthings board that pertained to Bowie. What was her name ..Elizabeth Cooper .... IMO There must of been lots of competition between these artist in the early glam rock days. I have never seen photos of them together and was wondering did they ever jammed...

Re: Remembering the Brutal Planet Tour

I have seen Alice over a dozen times. Brutal Planet tours stands out to me. At the time I wish I had more $$ to have gone seen it in a different city. I agree Alice had a great mix with the setlist. The first time I saw Alice was on the Nightmare returns tour. The tours I have enjoyed the most were ...

The future

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Alice has worked with different producers and each album has its own sound. That is what makes Alice unique. Some fans out there believe Lace & Whiskey is his best while others believe it could be Da Da. Since early 2012 Alice has been performing other peo...

Re: Thoughts on the new album

I just want Alice to get back to doing his own thing. I wouldnt go to a Rob Zombie concert to hear him perform a bunch of classic material from The Crazy World of Arthur Brown to Slade.

Re: Thoughts on the new album

I may get my face bit off here and I may be off with the time frame with this post but this has been my reaction toward this project. After a week of listening to this new Alice Cooper project I have to say I am disappointed. If I wanted to hear "Whole lotta love" I would resort to the original Zepp...

Rock N Roll Hall of fame

2 things :

With Alice being such a heavy influence , it would be great to see Alice induct KISS into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame.

Another thing...When the ACG was inducted, there wasn't all this drama like it is with KISS and it was great to see the ACG perform!!!

Mixed reactions

Alice Cooper on tour this summer 2014!! The Greatest SHOWMAN in Rock N Roll!! The Master of shock rock opening up for the Crue. Some are happy he is simply touring. Am I the only Cooper fan with mixed reactions. Alice still is the showman he was 30 years ago. He can still keep us on his feet. The on...

Re: RYF&Y. vs. Dragontown

I like most of RYF&Y...wasn't big on Give the radio back & Time to kill Dragontown, I like most of the tracks, the ones that didn't stick with me were "Somewhere in the jungle" "Sister Sara" "Every Woman Has a Name" "The Sentinel" Both have good memories for me. Both tours were pretty decent too.

Stage moments

Alice Cooper stated himself in the early days they would use a mop or anything the band could get their hands on and use it for a stage prop. I miss the days when rock n roll just did things without explanation, and it didn't have to mean anything. Bands these days just think too hard. Why does it s...

Re: Your biggest disappointment in Alice's career

One other disappointment is the lack of live footage from some of the tours Alice has done throughout the years. Professionally shot footage exists from every tour (with the exception of maybe four tours that I can think of). >It would be nice if some footage would resurface, if it was ever out the...
