Elected video
I was watching the Elected video from the 70s for the zillionth time and noticed after about 2 mins 30 secs someone in audience (when Alice at podium) that looked liked Groucho Marx. I know Alice was a friend, but is that Groucho in the video and if not is it a deliberate lookalike?

Re: Slightly Unusual Alice Mention On Radio 2
Good find. Years ago,it was difficult to find people mentioning Alice Cooper. Now it is more common place-at last. Great to pick an early track.

The part played by Mr J Greenberg-copy of an open letter
An Open Letter to Shep Gordon, Alice Cooper and whoever else is interested, It recently came to my attention that there is a movie being made called “The Dali and the Cooper”---about the “Incredible true story of Alice Cooper’s encounter with Salvador Dalí in NY in 1973.” David Suchet is going to pl...

Re: The Mission singer annoys some Alice fans in Glasgow ...
It is possible Wayne was attempting humour. I attended Leeds. I rated The Mission as pretty good although there was at least one song where it seemed that it was Wayne on his own playing over a backing track/tape loop kind of thing. Did anyone else notice this at any gig, or can update me on technol...

Re: Alice and The Mighty Boosh
I would be interested to know when a final date for transmission on sky arts has been decided. Some of the other episodes have dates. Maybe I have missed the date for this one -any ideas? Thanks

Re: Wembley Gig- how did it go?
Thanks Si and WHW- I read a review of the gig which gave it 2 stars-I think it was on the FT and one has to subscribe to read it- the main criticism centred on the content with some of the more obscure tracks- if the performance was anything like Leeds then the lesser known tracks were well played a...

Review above. I think Leeds holds about 13,500 capacity- maybe one section unused as I stated earlier, so very good turn out.

I did thanks. Blown away by that performance.I wondered why "The World Needs Guts" was on the schedule but it was good live, so even happy with that. A very good turn out fans wise. It was great seeing the original surviving members. Brilliant.wind_up_toy wrote:Have a great time dude

Re: Happy 30th Birthday RYFAY!
Having followed Alice since early 1970s I had become accustomed to changes in musical direction- I am not a great fan of heavy metal but at the time I liked Prince of Darkness, Time to Kill and Chop,Chop,Chop.. These songs fitted the Alice horror image- the cover is lacking in everything considering...

Re: How would you recreate the Paranormal Cover Art?
We should have swapped covers as my one is way too tight for the booklet- lolDaggers & Contracts wrote:Mine, the only issue I have is that when removing either disc the booklet slides out every time. Minor issue, problem solved!
