Re: Detroit Stories Review
I have listened to this 3 times today and have to say I enjoyed it much more than I was expecting after hearing the 30 second clips. As has been mentioned before those clips should be taken with a pinch of salt. The wonders of digital music/ipod means I have tagged the two missing Breadcrumbs tracks...

Re: Great AC songs (that aren't)
A couple of tracks from The Lemon Twigs last album "Songs For The General Public" you could easily shut your eyes and imagine Alice belting them out. In particular the opening track "Hell On Wheels" and "Leather Together". I would recommend this album to anyone who likes 70s rock. Bits of Alice, Che...

Re: New single - 'Our Love Will Change The World'
Hated it on first listen - 4 or 5 listens later I've grown to like it - very catchy had the lyrics in my head all day I like it when that happens. A lot of music is crafted to make you like it right out of the gate. The problem with that is that the music can start sounding old. I like songs that g...

I like this song, too. I must say that hearing it makes me wish that they'd do Lady Gaga's Born This Way. I'm not big on LG at all, but what a great Alice Cooper song. Assume you know, but they HAVE done that song, at the Bonaroo festival. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWPAUimefCg&feature=emb_log...

Re: Demos cd collection
Was this CD called "Forgotten Nightmares"? I picked that up off ebay a few years back. There is a live version of all strapped up on that but not great quality.

Funding Circle
Was just watching sky sports in the UK and thought I was hearing things.
There was an advert for business loans for Funding Circle with a baby in a cot and “I am the future” started playing.
An obscure Alice song unless you are a fan so whoever made the advert must be one!

Re: Flush the Fashion 40th Anniversary
That is not what I meant. Alice Cooper 'filler' tracks for the most part are better than most other artists output, hence the inverted commas, but there is a large drop-off from Clones, Pain, Model Citizen etc to some of the other tracks on the album which is only just over 25 mins long if I remembe...

Re: Flush the Fashion 40th Anniversary
Agree with most of the comments re FTF. I do find it strange/a bit disappointing that there are 'filler' tracks on an album which is barely over the length of an EP. Dada on the other hand is a masterpiece.

Re: Breadcrumbs
I have to say that Breadcrumbs did not grab me for the first couple of listens but it is growing on me now. Too many covers. It is a shame that Suzi Q did not duet as I think that would have been great. His other duets, for the most part, have been really good especially Baby Can't Drive. Well i lik...

Hello SickThings
As a long time visitor on this site and a massive Alice fan I have finally decided to sign up. I got in to Alice around the Trash/Hey Stoopid era (my age I guess) and would love to hear 4th Street......
