Re: Management Contract
Glen's parents were much more reluctant saying they had hooped that Glen would choose a more reliable career at Air Research where his dad, and Alice's dad worked. But Glen made it clear that he wasn't cut out for a 9 to 5 job, so his parents reluctantly signed. Michael had the most questions, but ...

Management Contract
I wonder if you recall the timeline of your coming under the band's management contract with Shep and Joe in 1968. Janice recalls that her parents went to LA to sign the contract (for underage Glen) in Sept of '68. I am sure at least a few other parents attended. However, Joe Greenberg recounts the ...

Re: Fellow Bass Players
I admire all of their work, but I guess we were all doing our own tours back then. Paul Samwell-Smith and Chris Hillman in 1966. Roy Estrada in 1969. Steve Priest at one of his shows in 2013. Nikki Sixx in 2014. Pete Way in 2019. Noel Redding, which I talk about in my book. And with Roger Waters (a...

The Pretty Things....
OK....you got me hooked. I will admit, I don't remember the Pretty Things , but you mentioned the Spiders did some songs put out by them back in 1965-6. (Remember, I'm from Detroit, so mid-60s music had to filter through Motown then). I listened to some of their songs on Amazon Music and I can hear ...

How are your two daughters doing? Is Renee still in Asheville working with the ASPCA? I hear you got a new puppy. How many furry friends do you have currently? BTW...I invited your mom to join the 'Shiny Dime', but she hasn't responded.

I am sure you have not been asked this question in the last 10 minutes or so....and I know it gets brought up to you on Facebook and other social media all the time, but..... Do you see even a glimmer of a chance that the surviving originals will get together and produce an album totally of songs cr...

Re: Snakes, Guillotines and Ezrin on Keyboards
No offense Bob but why do you feel you need to hijack a thread. I'm sure Dennis can make up his mind if he wants to answer a question or not. I don't think you have added anything to a question or asked Dennis a question so what gives?
I believe I am not interfering with Dennis ans...

Dennis has collected far more than records. I'm hoping that someday the Dr. Dreary "Museum makes its way to Arizona. I can't wait to see the rarely seen Electro Lucent Mind Machine. I know he has it stashed away.

Re: Snakes, Guillotines and Ezrin on Keyboards
On Dec 25 and Dec 26 the band played the Eastown Theatre in Detroit with Bob Ezrin on keyboards! Do you remember these two shows and if so? Couple of things here... 1. SOMEONE should really invest a few bucks and buy Dennis' book. If you can't find a copy cheap, let me know. 2. HEY - ANDY MICHAEL!!...

It was a put-down, meaning something like lame, that Glen used. I don't know if he made it up or if it came from a Bowery Boys film or something. I guess I should ask the other guys about it's origin. Janice (Glen's sis) and Neal agree with your definition. "A square guy. Someone who does ...
