Re: Overdue a biopic?

7 ACG albums....and it would be interesting to see how many those 7 albums sold combined, compared to the other 23 (roughly) combined

Re: The Alice Cooper Show 1977

Can remember bein’ gutted when I got this release. All the big boys were putting out double live albums when this was released. Wasn’t impressed at all at the time but played it a couple weeks back and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I find it hard to split TLT , Brutal Planet and WTMN in the solo years. Top 3 imo without doubt.

“82”

Pretty sure Big Country were the support band when I saw the concert at the Birmingham Odeon on that “82” tour, for the life of me I can’t remember who the support band at the Hammersmith Odeon was and I went to all 3 of them ? Sure a lot of you were there. Can only think we must’ve stayed in the bo...

cooperrocks.....gotta disagree with the last couple of lines there, imo “When Hell Comes Home” is a masterpiece, my fave track in decades.....but do agree, the new single does sound like a Partridge Family track.

Ugh, that was a tough listen. I’ll stick to Lou’s “Rock n Roll Animal” version ... in my opinion Hunter and Wagner’s finest hour

It’s on a site called “ A Fistful Of Alice” if anyone’s interested
It's on a site called SickthingsUK as well since yesterday.... in the albums section

It appeared on AmazonUS yesterday.
I'm also hoping it isn't the real cover.... Surely it can't be the real cover....
Well done that man 👍

New album cover

Two Alice spider make up eyes lit up over a city, presume it’s Detroit, Batman style. Not sure how legit it is....and for some reason ( probably my limited techie knowledge) I can’t copy and paste it

Not so much an album change, ‘cause I’ve always loved “Muscle Of Love”....but always thought “Woman Machine” was the weak link, but just love that song now.

Re: Covers

You’re right mate, couldn’t really better the original albums, maybe a Bowie type “Pin Ups” album woulda given them some artistic breathing space to write another 7 masterpiece’s afterwards....wishful thinking , i know 😉

Covers

Whilst not a big fan of the live cover section Alice done for a while, they’re are a couple of good covers he has recorded, “Hello Hurray” being my top pick by a mile. I always wish the originals had recorded The Stones “Paint It Black” , perfect for his voice and their image. “Smoking In The Boys R...
