Re: NS interview
....and that obviously means that you were NOT around in the REAL glory days of Alice Cooper. Shame, you missed out on an amazing 6 years.

Re: In Concert 1972
Well said Luney Tune, thats the difference, he WAS Alice back then. 71-73 can't be beaten imo......I was 13, and to this day, still gutted i didn't get to see the original band. Some consolation being at Wembley in "75", but would swap half my Alice concerts for just one with the originals.

Re: It was 20 years ago today
Yeah, it was the 23rd. Bloody amazing show wasn't it Steven. 6 quid to get in, bargin'. I worked at Smithfield Market in those days and got off early , caught the train to The Marquee and arrived their about 7 a.m. Well worth the wait, i would put it amongst the top 3 Alice shows i've ever seen. Did...

Re: Clearwater Show
Si, i just think people are a little dissapointed that they can't hear their idol's voice to clearly. Most of us realize that the theaters are not built for rock shows and that the sound guys have their work cut out. Hopefully, new technology is just around the corner.

Re: Clearwater Show
The Daytona show was fantastic. I was back a bit compared to The Clearwater show, center, row 9. The sound was perfect, Alice's vocals came across loud and clear. Suppose in a perfect world, Alice should do 2 shows in every venue. One where you could get front row tix and virtually be part of the sh...

Clearwater Show
Great start to the 1st of Alice's 4 Florida shows. Everything was spot on, same setlist. Thought the band were brilliant, and they were having a blast onstage. Only down point, thought Alice's vocals got drowned out at times. Don't know if it was because we were in the 3rd row and the sound was goin...

Re: The tour I wish I had seen
Anything by the original group, gotta thank Leo Abse for missing out on them. To jacknife_johnny,that Marquee gig was unbelievable, queued up from 7 in the morning for that one, lucky i worked at Smithfield Market in those days,so i was an early-riser anyway. Jimmy Page and Lemmy were propping up the...

Re: The first time you saw Alice live....
11 Sept 1975,Empire Pool,Wembley. Heavy Metal Kids were the support band. Bloody brilliant, the only support band i've seen get a deserved encore. Their lead singer was Gary Holton, who later appeared on the great t.v. series "Auwedesaine Pet" and sadly died not long after. Was lucky enough to go th...

Re: New Tour Setlist Discussion *SPOILER*
ABSOLUTELY GUTTED !!! Not to say it won't be a good show, but gotta admit,i'm not as dissapointed that he isn't coming to Florida as i thought i would be,after seeing that set-list.
