Re: Alice As Herod
A short article but another favourable review of the show in the 'Metro' newspaper today. NBC reported increased viewing figures and whilst mentioning the key performers remarked that 'Alice Cooper stole the show' with his portray of Kind Herod.

Re: Vampires UK dates with the Darkness and the Damned
I risk the accusation of being slightly cynical here (I am actually not but just trying to raise a smile) bearing in mind Shep and his autobiography where he openly discusses the merits of 'Guilt by Association' I cannot help feel this might be a classic example, and this time working in the favour ...

Re: Vampires UK dates with the Darkness and the Damned
Does anyone have any idea at this stage who the band will comprise of? Apart from Alice, Joe and Johnny I presume Tommy H will be involved. The idea as raised in earlier posts on this subject that members of the original ACG could be involved would be amazing. Allowing my imagination to run riot for...

Re: Wembley Gig- how did it go?
Having seen Alice on all his tours to the UK since 1975 how could I miss the Wembley concert especially with the anticipation of seeing him reunite with Mike, Neal and Dennis. I have to be honest and admit the past few times I had seen Alice I found the performance a little stale in relation to the ...

Re: MANCHESTER 15/11
Does anyone know how the ticket sales are selling for the Wembley concert? I am taking some friends with me that have never seen Alice before so having bombarded them over the years about Alice a full and packed Wembley would certainly add to the occasion. Apologies for straying from the subject mat...

Re: If you could choose five more songs for the ACG mini set
Not in any particular order but these would be my five songs that I would like to see played if possible. 1. Caught in a Dream 2. Luney Tune 3. Hard Hearted Alice 4. My Stars 5. Genuine American Girl (Purely because its on the Paranormal album) For purely nostalgic value and I know Alice has played ...

Re: Goes To Hell........
For me 'Goes To Hell' would be in my top ten ACG / Alice solo recordings. Probably squeezing in at number ten! Even though a radical departure from the ACG sound and a much softer tone compared to WTMN I personally think it highlights his talent in his writing ability and story telling accompanied b...

Re: Genuine American Girl
Whilst I am genuinely thrilled that W2MN and Paranormal has seen the introduction of DD, BB and NS inputting some material I would still have to raise some question as to whether the actual end product of material that makes the final disc is a fair representation of the ACG or whether the songs tha...

Re: The best of Easy Action and PFY
I think its a real shame that Alice has never been tempted to play a song from either of these albums in a live performance.

The best of Easy Action and PFY
With many favourable reviews of 'The Sound of A' of which I agree with what really has made this extra special was finding out its origin went way back to the ACG era. This has made me revisit the above two albums and if one could take the best tracks of these and record today but keep that 60/70s s...

When I joined here many years ago I exchanged quite a few posts with Baz. Always found him very warm, friendly and he had a wonderful sense of humour. My condolences to his wife and family. R.I.P.

Re: Thoughts On And Ranking The New Album
Really pleased to see Paranormal gain success and make an impact on various charts around the world.
However on a personal note it would not make my top ten Alice (ACG) albums. There are a few stand out songs but on the whole it does not make me want to play the album from start to end.

Re: Give it up for Dennis Dunaway!
Been over ten years since I lasted posted and I have to say that never has a week or day gone by when I have not visited to get my update on Alice news. The site continues to just get better and congratulations Si on a great website. I am now 57 and so have a preference for the ACG era more than sol...
