Re: HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES TRACK LISTING REVEALED
Is this going to be available on CD? I looked on Amazon and they are offering a pre order for MP3 download and there was a vinyl pre order (which has now gone?) - but no cd??

Re: Dennis Dunaway book reviews
Well I'm glad I got a copy of the first run! Seriously though. This kind of thing fades into oblivion or you keep it and its worth a lot of money -(something to put away for your kids when your dead and gone). And yes, it is of interest to US in our day and age, but always something and someone else...

Re: Dennis Dunaway book reviews
Ha ha ha! The first part of my post is NOT my post - I was purely highlighting another persons post and obviously I'm not very good at that! My point being, its a book for entertainments sake. Good luck to Dennis with it. Hopefully its a 'one run print' so will make money for everyone in the long ru...

Re: Dennis Dunaway book reviews
My ex just bought me the book for my forthcoming birhday (next saturday) I'm quite stoked, to be honest.. I'll let you know what I think of it when I read it. I know my opinion is not worth a rabbit's piss drop but anyway... Ha ha ha! I bought it purely to put away and resell at a later date. Hopefu...

Re: W2MN .. REVIEWED
Yeah, you know what?? Its totally underrated. I love the opening "I am made of you' right through the 'cheesiness' of the catchy and flippant 'Ghouls gone Wild'. I just love the whole thing. The potential for a stage show from this cd is enormous, and I must admit, I was expecting a lot more than th...

Re: W2MN .. REVIEWED
I must admit that I have not read the 21 pages on this topic. I LOVE this album - I totally think its the best thing that Alice has brought out since 'EYES' Brilliant. Stunning from beginning to end - a full story, and totally worthy of being named Nightmare 2. I love the way it integrates with the ...

Re: When you first met Alice
I have met Alice at a 'Meet and Greet' concert a few years ago - but I'll tell you my older sister's story as its more interesting. Alice was hosting his annual free charity event at Cooperstown in Phoenix a good few years ago over lunch time. My sister at that time was working close by at the bank ...

Re: Love It To Death - 40th Anniversary
Brilliant album. I can never decide between this and Killer - I would never be able to choose if I had to!
Just some useless information, but I actually have a copy of the 'thumb' vinyl album - which is pretty cool and quite daring for the time!

Re: ACAS- your view now?
I have high hopes for WTMN2, if its anywhere near as good as EOAC i'll be happy.
I hope your right!!! I really think 'Eyes' was the last good thing churned out.
And while I think its a pipe dream to even expect anything close to the original WTMN kind of material - one can always hope??!

Re: ACAS- your view now?
ACAS is ok. Vengeance and The One that Got Away are the only two songs that do anything for me. And TOTGA only appeals because of the opening lines 'I think you'd look good in the trunk of my car' - cause we all know someone we would like to lock in the trunk never to see the light of day again! IMH...

Re: Anyone spot the inconsistent reasoning?
As Dennis Leary said "meat is murder and murder sure tastes f*cking good!" Big Unit anyone? Ha ha ha!! As I sit here in my mink coat, admiring my matching alligator shoes and handbag, checking the time on my watch with the crocodile strap, it suddenly dawns on me what to make for tea! Steak and chi...

Re: Schools out 1st pressing vinyl
Nice find. eBay does flood the market and so lowers the price. All depends what you think its worth and what you would be happy to accept for a sale. Its a niche market - you just need to pick the right week to list when two people want to haggle over the same thing. I have the UK ori...

Re: New recordings of old classics
Good point SamS. I have not heard them (no sound on the PC just at present). What with todays' 'high tec' sound systems etc, I sometimes think you end up listening to the 'sound' and not the actual 'music'. Lady Gaga is a prime example of this (an NO - I am not a fan!) - although I have listened to ...

Last time I was there, my bro in law 'stole' a round silver kind of disc thing out of the men's toilets!!
I have no idea what I am supposed to do with it, but I can honestly say I own a peice of Cooperstown!!

Re: welcome to my nightmare on broadway
I HATE musicals. Well I don't think it would be like 'Mary Poppins' or 'Peter Pan'!! I've heard this all before, but I too would love it to happen. The couple of shows I have seen (in LA) have been nothing short of amazing! Excellent excuse to visit the 'Big Apple' too. Dreamin' on......
