Re: The Alice Cooper Show 1977
I really hate this live album, the band (for the most part) are on fire and i love the whole wish you were here part but alice sounds terrible. The mix has no power and alices voice lacks any punch at all. Very limp. I have been puzzled with his choices of live albums, until his last couple that is;...

Re: Overdue a biopic?
Maybe because Alice doesnt seem to like much/any information of his drugged up days (i can only guess because it would conflict with the image of the perfect family man he likes to push) aside from that potential area he appears quite dull as a person who watches tv allot. (not exactly riveting for ...

Re: comparing ACG to Alice solo in terms of rating enjoyment
I think the telling thing when comparing the group to solo is obviously the sheer number of solo vs group. Group post split have been very poor output in number and quality in my opinion. Solo has had dips but even in these dips there are more highlights than on most of the groups post split work co...

Re: comparing ACG to Alice solo in terms of rating enjoyment
overall i prefer his solo outings. While numerically there is a vast difference so hard for a direct comparison, but most of my fave albums are solo ones and i tend to listen to them more than his band output. fave albums : Welcome to my nightmare, from the inside, raise your fist, hey stoopid, last...

Re: New single - 'Our Love Will Change The World'
My two favorite tracks on Breadcrumbs were Your Mama Won't Like Me and Chains of Love Seriously, i 100% agree, i love his version of your mama wont like me - superb vocals on that song and a great vibe. Yet it is not on the album, i mean id prefer it if none were on the album , but if your includin...

Re: New single - 'Our Love Will Change The World'
Really cant get on with it, i didnt know the original at all (but having heard it cant really see the point as it is very, very similar despite some lyric changes here and there) It just doesn't sound like Alice - i can barely tell he is singing - it sounds more like a Tommy, Tommy, Tommy song. Afte...

Re: New single - 'Our Love Will Change The World'
so....another cover then?
If it wasn't for the blu ray, i really wouldn't be excited for this release at all. I am confused as to why its been in gestation/production for so long when over half of it is covers. Still at least its a new album.....kinda.....

Re: Rock meets Classic Zurich
aside from your hatred of the song (i love it personally, my second fave off trash) the song is suited well for an upbeat/orchestral set as the song encompasses strings (or string like synths) on the record anyway. So i completely understand why it was picked and again i think its a solid version (a...

Re: An Alice Cooper vinyl box set
I still find it amazing the bands that get the deluxe reissue treatment (like marrilion, tears for fears, king crimson etc) but alice has nothing. his albums are reissued regularly under many little labels with "limited coloured vinyl" , "special digi packs" and the like, but we never get a proper p...

Re: Rock meets Classic Zurich
Bed of nails with the orchestra etc was awesome, very very cool. great song and works really well (really brings out the grandness of the album version)
Only critism is the horn section is a touch too high in the mix, but nit picking.

Re: An Alice Cooper vinyl box set
A £1000? nope. not even accidentally. I wouldn't mind buying a CD box set if it was made worthwhile (ie demos, B-sides, unreleased tracks, live shows etc) but i am not interested in vinyl for the sake of it. Just to get everything on 180g, just not a worth while investment for me. Especially at a lu...

Re: New album cover
My point still stands though- Alice should have stunning album covers, but he doesn’t I havent liked a cover since Brutal Planet. The worst was W2MN the cover was campy and silly but to make it worse he had a better cover on the back of the booklet! absolute craziness! who vetted that decision!?!? ...

Re: New album cover
I honestly think the cover looks like a rough place holder. It just doesn't look polished or finalised. I know art is subjective but this really is bargain basement art design. Still , its the music that really matters and i, like so many others on here am very disappointed that half the songs on br...

Re: Alice's grey hair
At the Paranormal launch in London Alice took the piss out of me for my hair... saying something like "I've been dying my hair black for years, but why did you dye yours grey?" that's pretty damn funny hahaha it's a crazy number of comments on his grey/black hair. as long as you are comfortable/con...

Re: Alice Cooper's HorrorBox
Yeah i saw that, he seems to have opened up his revenue streams allot during this period, hot sauce, horror stories, horror box etc. fair play to him, but doesn't interest me tbh. I am not entirely sure why this horror box is anything to do with alice, it doesnt seem to actually have any reference t...

eddie has some strange tastes so could be interesting. I wont hear it but if anyone hears it and posts it , it will be interesting.
I could bash out a top 20 i think.....it would be hard but as long as its in no order i think i could do it.

Re: Are Alice's Touring Days Over?
Covid will be around as an entity but once the populace has been exposed and their immune system recognises it, it will likely fade to a flu level entity. Hopefully the oxford team vaccine continues to do well and is stable enough to make it to market then people will likely get the flu jab and covi...

Re: Are Alice's Touring Days Over?
who knows what he will do, COVID cannot go away until we have herd immunity/vaccine in conjunction. What i dont get, if the new album is done, get it out to us! i dont understand the long wait at all. But then while your waiting for things to quiet down, get writing a new album. Why not? im sure his...

i always hated this song, was always more Scooby Doo than something creepy. Maybe thats what he was going for, but it never resonated with me.This house is haunted
