Re: comparing ACG to Alice solo in terms of rating enjoyment
Well Alice solo has had quite a few different phases so maybe it would be easier to separate each of them and rate them against the group (which possibly could be argued had 2 separate phases itself ) I.e ballad Alice 60, black out Alice 100, Hair Metal Alice -1 etc.. I'd have to go on an album by ...

Re: “82”
I’ve just listened to the Glasgow 82 Lp ago finally got a copy. Loved it. Along with the original group this is my favourite Alice period. I’ve got a boot of the show too but this was well worth adding to my collection.

Re: The Alice Cooper Show 1977
Does anyone know if this was in fact a quasi live album or was I just imagining that? I’m not sure , someone recently mentioned it on the SF forum, but again they were asking if it was true or not. I’ve just scanned through Dick Wagner’s book again and the only mention about the album I could find ...

Re: You’re a movie lyric
I always heard " no porno kind " . Who is Linda Henrick? Answered by Padre already. Always wondered, in the pre-internet time, where all these lyrics were found if they didn't came with the lp.. Sometimes we had lyrics written (or invented :)) by Linda Henrick, and sometimes even for non-english sp...

Yes I referred to these in my initial post but are these actually the “official” lyrics or are they one of Si’s minion’s transcriptions?SickThings wrote: ↑Mon Nov 09, 2020 5:17 pmThe actual lyrics are here:

You’re a movie lyric
Hi! Hope everyone is well. I’ve been wondering about this lyric for a while. Exactly what type of movie is he? The lyric section here says “ the one o’kind”, another lyric site says “final kind” ( I certainly don’t hear this!), Linda Henrick ,god bless her, say “the * kind” and I’ve always heard “po...

Re: biblical touch
I really like TLT but I was never that keen on Brutal Planet (a bit too Metal for me). To be honest I’ve never been that taken with WTMN but I love the black out period stuff. TLT definitely gets plenty of spins in our house.

Grand Finale credits
Forgive me if I appear stupid and this is well known but I’ve looked and I can’t find why Mack David and Elmer Bernstein are credited in Grande Finale. Is there a lift from one of their tunes on it? There’s still the musical quote from West Side Story but Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim don’t...

Re: Paranormal CD 2 with original Alice Cooper band plus some live songs. Very good or excellent?
The main problem with recreating that 70’s “ultra cool rock” sound is down to the type of coolant systems used in studios these days. As the 60’s came to an end and the 70’s dawned the original 1950’s thermo chillsonic units began to degrade giving at first a pleasant hallucinogenic flavor and late...

Yes some of the records he had available were rather expensive, definitely too expensive for me! But I did get to look at grainy black and white photocopied pictures of the album covers!

Old Record Collector Ad
I’m probably going to look really stupid to all the die hard fans and long time members of this site when I ask this but here goes! Many years ago when I used to buy “Record Collector” magazine over here in the UK there used to be an Ad in the classified section for Alice Cooper collectibles and mem...

Re: Funding Circle
Now I normally skip through the adverts but somehow I’ve managed to see this one three times today! Out of interest while the album credits state (Schifrin, Osborne) writing the song the Lp cover says all lyrics by Alice Cooper. Did he have any part in these lyrics? I would assume not, or certainly...
