Re: No Alice for RSD?

I think a 12" extended disco version of "No More Love At Your Convenience" would be an ideal RSD release. It could be a picture disc that looks like a glitter disco ball.

Maybe they will cast that guy from that gem of a Russian Mob movie to play MB.

Re: Alice w/Elvis

Alice's story about meeting Elvis in "Golf Monster" is great. I have a feeling it was highly embellished but it does provide for some great imagery. Alice really knows how to tell a story---embellished or not. BTW---I just read where Alice got his first toke from a joint from Jimi Hendrix. I wonder ...

Re: My Stars

Thank you very much. It doesn't get better than hearing the truth from someone who was there for it all. I always felt Wagner had more input on My Stars and I think championed as much on this forum so I will gladly eat those words. It's funny what you said about being friends and being uncredited. W...

My Stars

Thank you Dennis for giving us the opportunity to ask questions to someone who was/is part of it all. Over the years there have been several debates/arguments etc. over events and I always openly asked for any band member(s) to enter the discussion to provide the truth. We got one better with you ge...

Re: The Alice Cooper Show 1977

I never really cared much for live albums with a few exceptions, but this live album is one of the worst. I don't recall Wagner talking about it in his book but I will give it another look. I can understand why he chose not to talk about it as I'm sure it was pushed out by WB with little input by an...

Re: In the Court of the Cooper King

Toyah would make a perfect Baby Jane Hudson in a musical version of "Whatever Happened To Baby Jane?". The character Blanche, Jane's sister , can be re-written as a man and become Jane's brother. A perfect role for Alice. Alice always wanted to stretch out into Broadway well here's his chance. Are y...

Re: In the Court of the Cooper King

I actually enjoyed this. It's great to see Fripp having fun with nonsense. It would be great to see these two collaborate with Alice on some sort of similar lighthearted fun.

Alice and Toyah working together on something would be a riot.

Re: New single - 'Our Love Will Change The World'

I don't watch videos when I listen to music. Regardless of the visuals in the video, this has zero ---absolutely zero--connection to his horror character. His delivery, phrasing and overall tone of the song is far from "horror Alice". Much in the same way his delivery and phrasing on most of "Trash"...

Re: New single - 'Our Love Will Change The World'

I absolutely LOVE IT! What a breath of fresh air! Alice stepping out of the tired old horror schlock with great results. This reminds me of the "black out" years (my favorite era) where Alice experimented and tried new ideas and sounds and stepped away from the "classic" character. My favorite thing...

Re: Rock meets Classic Zurich

I agree. Who chose that steaming turd for the set? My Stars would be incredible as would Halo Of Flies. There are so many great songs that would lend themselves to an orchestral arrangement. Go To Hell, Cleansed By Fire, Former Lee Warmer...just to name a few. Maybe the genius who picked Bed Of Pota...

Re: comparing ACG to Alice solo in terms of rating enjoyment

I never compare them as to me they are two distinct entities. The original band with Ezrin was a band in their prime who went out on top...even if it was unwillingly. Ezrin deserves much more credit when it comes to the songwriting. It's my opinion he should have received a credit on nearly every so...

A book is a great idea, especially if the cover is as visually stunning as the covers of "Detroit Stories" and "Paranormal".

Re: Alice's grey hair

It looks to me like he is growing it out and going to keep the gray. I wonder if it has anything to do with transitioning to a different phase of his career. Touring won't happen at least until 2022 by the time it all shakes out and by that time he may have moved into a new phase. I can see him gett...
