Agree completely - W2MN and Paranormal for me, the rest is hit and miss to say the least.Paranormal but probably only because it is newer. These are the only two albums that I really like that he has made since BP.

Re: Wembley Gig- how did it go?
If they did a 360 degree filmed version of that gig for VR then the crowd will not give much entertainment - a far cry from the 1986 Detroit nightmare returns crowd! I honestly had a miserable time considering the setlist was great and the band themselves seemed to be rocking it. Obviously because o...

Re: Eyes of AC vs. Paranormal.......
Paranormal by a bloody long way. Only one sub par song (holy water) Eyes has filler and bad songs to spare (along with the worst ballad of his career - be with you awhile) Paranormal is strong and doesn't take the foot of the accelerator until the very end. A blistering album which while being fairl...

Re: More tracks to hear...
"I Am Made Of You" was a perfect album opener and a monster track. Absolutely stunning. Desmond child, bob ezrin and alice cooper - that's a triple bill I would love to hear more from. I think one thing we can ALL agree on is that "under the bed" should have been on the album proper (after "the nigh...

Re: Your biggest disappointment in Alice's career
A_michael, Seriously you need help. I mean wow. I would say that burning churches is worse than being "condescending". Im not big into black metal (i like some of the more poppy stuff, like cradle of filth etc) but even i know that church burning is not even remotely the entire black metal movement....

Re: Your biggest disappointment in Alice's career
My problem is not that he is a christian (or anything else for that matter) I dont care that last temptation has a religious theme running through it.(its one of my fave albums) I would just rather not hear him preaching to us about it. Im an atheist and im all for everyone believing what they want ...

Re: Your biggest disappointment in Alice's career
I disagree that RYFAY is a worse flop than ACAS. As I've said many times, that album truly captures the Alice Cooper image with its sinister theme and the music remains consistently dark and heavy throughout with that twisted dark humour. Compared to other Alice Cooper albums, I think that's the on...

Re: Your biggest disappointment in Alice's career
AC - the ballads/ chickens on the stage Here here! As has been mentioned highs FAR outweigh the lows but a few of my disappointments are: 1 - Lace and Whiskey (3 tracks i will take the rest can just disapear as far as im concerned) 2 - Dyslexia off DADA. Just horrible (i dont hate that period as mu...

Re: Is it worth recording new albums?
This is a great time for bands to control their own music and embrace the technology rather than taking stuff down off youtube and thinking it is worth the time to make money off Spotify and the like. ITs true, lots of smaller bands are flourishing when 30 years ago they couldnt have carried on. Th...

Re: Is it worth recording new albums?
you've gotta do it just for the art. Otherwise you've got attorneys sitting on duty all day long and all night long just taking down links of everybody downloading it for free. And that's been happening forever. I mean, it's, like, you've gotta just say, 'Well, I want new music out there.' And we'v...

Re: Is the new album imminent?
I agree with everything you have just said Dadascot. frustrated and annoyed that he seems to want to promote and plug a covers album but didnt want to tour the best album he has done in years. Apparently being a support act for a bunch of washed up 80's rockers is what floats his boat these days. I ...

Re: Staging and set creation
Yeah i have the 2 disc set which is nice to have (thank god there is a cheat round the annoying snakes and ladders game!) but as its a dress rehearshal its only on alice, would be nice to see the whole band/show to see more of the stage and that, as scotty said it was supposed to be an amazing show/...

Re: Hey Stoopid on 180gr vinyl
As a man who has alot of old crappy records and only a handful of the 180g vinyls (with no working record player for some years now i must confess) is there a improvement in sound? or do you need a expensive kit to get the most out of it? I know SACD/DVD/blu ray audios can be great when mastered pro...

Re: Is it worth recording new albums?
put out a great album, tour with it like you're proud of it Thats the key isnt it? Alices set lists still vary enough for me to be worth it, i.e. seeing him live every year (and the fact he is my fave artist) but i know what you mean. Seems he hasnt been "proud" of an album since brutal planet/drag...

Re: Coop's heaviest song?
That instrumental break at the end of "Wish You Were Here" is the most drastic and sinister break in music history. Out. Yes sir, yes it is. not the heaviest thing he has ever done but truly amazing and one of the only reasons to own the alice cooper show (never liked that album for alices performa...

Re: Is it worth recording new albums?
This is an interesting thread, the issue with twisted sister is that creatively all of those guys have nothing to offer. This goes back way beyond the illegal downloading took off. Any true artist wants to create new music and then most of them will at least want to play you a couple of those songs ...
