Re: why do people hate ACAS?

It is the only Alice album I have not heard in full and I have no desire to do so. How much of it have you listened to? If you don't like that much, why would you finish it? There are Alice records I don't care for, but I've at least listened to them full way through. Every album has a least one so...

Re: why do people hate ACAS?

1. People don't like the lyrics A lot of them are blah or cringeworthy. The ones ACAS cited above, case in point. 2. People keep using the word "overproduced." Its just a buzz-word and doesn't have any real meaning. Sure it does. There are different ways to interpret it, but in this instance it cou...

Re: Your biggest disappointment in Alice's career

Ok, 2 people. Who prefers MOL, That's a big achievement, generally, everybody says that Muscle of Love was bad (although, I Like it a lot) By the way, I Think the break up was necessary,When people don't share a same vision, if you let them together longer, the worst will happen I like MOL too. Re: Your biggest disappointment in Alice's career

>Apparently, Alice was in Chile in '95. I don't think that's the show Lucius Morthem is referring to No, but it answers Pinkerton's question. - And, I even answered it without blaming her for not looking through this whole site to find it herself. Just like that, piece of cake, see Andy ? lol. I th...

Re: Your biggest disappointment in Alice's career

Only an Alice zealot would claim that there's been no disapointments over the years. I also subscribe to the notion that there's been significantly more moments to celebrate than feel let down about. Additionally, and as a young(ish) fan, I feel I've avoided some of the true dissapointments that ou...

When was Alice in Chile? I use to live in Santiago. McCartney came, but the tix were so expensive. I could hear the show from my balcony.

Re: Your biggest disappointment in Alice's career

I'd have to say the late 70s. Each album has something I like, but after WTNM the albums start to sound uniform. We need a ballad, we need and edgy guitar song here ect ect ect. I get most bored with those late 70s albums.

Re: Alice reportedly in talks to play Green Goblin on Broadw

While I do love musicals in general and think that seeing Alice in one would be great, I would probably prefer to see him do something other than "Spider-Man: Turn of the Dark". I mean it's his decision and I'm sure he'll have fun with the character if he chooses to do it, but from what little I've...

Bravo Si! My hat's off to you. I'm going to bookmark that as well. ACAS27, I do love the promo material as well. I do find two things disappointing about the reaction to the album here. 1. People don't like the lyrics. 2. People keep using the word "overproduced." Its just a buzz-word and doesn't ha...

Re: why do people hate ACAS?

We all have murder inside us. I know the terrible things lurking in me. Besides, you brought up Hitler. We were having a conversation about music. Hitler really has nothing to do it, unless you wanna talk about his paintings. Sorry to say, but you didn't have a strong way to support your ideas so yo...

just because I don't agree with an opinion or hold an opposite view point it doesn't mean the other person is wrong.

Maybe someone out there really does like westlife that much, and that's fine. I would never say they are wrong for their taste, even though its not my cup of tea.

Yes, never cared much for 'sun arise.' I'd stop my tape at that point and flip it over.
