Re: No Alice for RSD?
I would of liked to have the full concert from "The Alice Cooper Show" which was edited on one vinyl. I believe they had a few more songs on that tour from Lace and Whiskey album called 'King of The Silver Screen' tour. Alice hates it and it's hardly a fan favorite. Never gonna happen. P88, I think...

Re: No Alice for RSD?
Seems like Alice has nothing lined up for RSD this year.. Oh Well, With "Breadcrumbs" & the recent "Detroit Stories" did you really think during these Covid times they were digging around researching for a knee-jerk release? Sure they could have asked us but we have Kyler & Dennis so... Nudge, Nudg...

Re: Alice Cooper in the 70’s Book
Hi Dennis I’ve just started reading this book and whilst I’m enjoying it there’s a couple of things in the section about Killer which I think either I or the author might have gotten wrong. The book states that the Strings on Halo of Flies, Be My Lover and the brass on Dead Babies was Bob Ezrin on ...

Re: Hollywood Vampires tour cancelled?
Don't forget one of AC's Hollywood buddies George Burns had dates booked for past his 100th Birthday.
He made it to 100 but was too ill to perform & passed shortly after.
RIP George Burns & Gracie Allen.
2023 isn't that far away & we may have a handle on this by then!

The vocal arrangement & meter are very similar.
Is there a translation? My French is over 30yrs. unused.

Re: More Vampires? Dreamy!
1 cover they passed on was the disputed Thunders/Ramones composition of "Chinese Rocks". :x Supposedly AC never went down that fork in the road but, it's a great tune! It would be an omission to pass it by! As far as "You Can't Put Your Arms Around a Memory" it's a good tune but way too tame...

I wonder if there's a way to fit that "Tricky Bass Riff" to a doubled Lead guitar now...?
Yet, not step on any copywrite issues also. Enjoy your Beer guys.

Re: More Vampires? Dreamy!
So, the band is good, Johnny is writing & they're going to record another LP.
Maybe, if the others bring something to the table we may not have so many covers?

Re: Killer - 50 Years Later
Thanks, I was just gauging the amount of interest & available funds to go a bit farther.
Killer with a handful of bonus would be a keeper also!
P.S. Is anybody considering a cover version of "My Stars"?

Re: Killer - 50 Years Later
Just a question. Are we now talking about a handful of extra tracks or a double CD? If it stays a single CD release I'm interested in a couple of ACG covers but, if it expands into the ACG catalogue - please focus on "Killer" for 1 & a 2nd disc of awesome of ACG "Non - Killer" tracks! I'll bu...

Re: Battle Axe
Is the Cherry Red version of Battle Axe sourced from the master tapes, or was it sourced from vinyl? If I remember correctly, the first CD version was sourced from an LP. I have the Complete Battle Axe 3CD release on New Millennium Records; it was stated in the CD booklet that the original BA album...

Re: Hollywood Vampires tour cancelled?
i've got earlier gigs too, in June etc, guessing they ain't gonna happen either :-/ just had a live stream gig the other day which was cracking though, i wonder if Alice or the Vampires will consider that option in the meantime? It's the getting together part that would be difficult to coordinate. ...

Re: Detroit Stories Vinyl
Why would they do this? I suppose it's for those that use Apple Music and Spotify that the vocals kick straight in. As mentioned here, I also think the song is too long but I do think the lack of intro on Rock n Roll doesn't feel right. I think there's to much soloing towards the back end of the tr...

Re: Detroit Stories Vinyl
Is the extra time similar to the intro by Hunter/Wagner on R 'n' R Animal? It runs through the verse chord sequence instrumentally four times before the vocals come in. For example: take the instrumental bit before the second verse, double the length, and stick it at the beginning of the song. Than...

Re: Detroit Stories Vinyl
Looking for a favour here really. I heard a while ago that the vinyl version of Detroit Stories features a longer version of 'Rock'n'Roll' and have now confirmed it. It has just under a minute extra before the vocals come in, unlike the Cd where Alice comes in almost immediately. However there seem...

Re: Detroit Stories Review
This album has an uphill battle with me, honestly. SHORT REVIEW I can see, buddy, but with me it has been quite the opposite...maybe the very low expectations I had have paid off, or maybe my 8yo son humming "Rock n roll" all day has put me in the right mood, I don’t really know. (..) What I feel i...
