Re: Are Alice's Touring Days Over?

I remember reading in the ME , shortly after the WTMNM tour, that Alice even thought his show could be brought on Broadway, not necessarely with himself as an actor ..
Should Alice touring days be over, then we were very lucky to see the last tour with all the "new" old songs :)

Re: Alice Songs You Like More Than Most Other Fans Do

we'll probably end by naming each and every song :alice: the more titles I read I go "oh yeah, how could I not have mentioned that one. Just listened to Sanctuary and Pick up the bones and would also like to mention "every woman has a name" (he could easily have made a hit out of this one with the r...

Re: Alice Songs You Like More Than Most Other Fans Do

that"s a difficult one. I think of " it rained all night" and, yes, also Be with you a while, as an atypical Alice song .Mr and Missdemeanor and Shoesalesman to name a few of the very "old" ones..

Re: Si Halley on Ryan Roxie's podcast

I once asked Brain Nelson (by email) if Alice was going to be around in the next time, and this is what he answered : at the moment, it looks like most of the europe tour is set so i don't think anything will get added. usually the most updated info is at http://www.sickthingsuk.co.uk/ Congrats to S...

Re: Alice on Top of the Pops

In the Netherlands there was a "simular" Toppop program at the time and I remember Alice bringing Bed of Nails ( which got quite some airplay at MTV at that time.) Unfortunately it is not to be found on youtube. Don't know how long Top of the pops went on ?

Re: Album opinion change

maybe already somewhere in past threads ( blame it on the heat then...) it had been several years since I had listened to Lace and Whiskey , and now, having a lot of time, I first listened to WTMNM and then Lace and Wishey. I don't think anyone would guess this to be an Alice album, apart maybe from...

the only time I can think of Alice Cooper and milk bottle in one sentence, is in generation landslide...
Good point that the benefits of this action serve a noble purpose, but I think there might have been a better drawing available than this one ..

Re: Alice's Mustache

I remember reading an article, way back in the 70ties n the ME ( music express it was called) , after the WTMNM tour, where Alice was also pictured with a mustache. It was an article where he explained how he saw the WTMNM production to be a production on its own, like a play with different people p...

Re: Alice Unplugged

would be so "un-alice" , don't think it could work and as nurserozetta said: he always said he never would. I know it would not be the first time Alice did something unexpected, but no, not in this case imo.

Iwhat are they supposed to sing about instead of girls? Dentures wheelchairs and Viagra? I don't find it any more weird than all the old school rockers in their 60's and 70's singing about their generation breaking free.
Paranormal and even W2MNM2 are good answers to your question imo.

I'm with Pitkin on this: rather embarrassing for a guy of that age. (of course, one could have simular ideas when looking for instance at the clip for Doom and Gloom (RS): trying to be ageless ??

Re: Goes To Hell album cover

didn't quite like the album cover at the time. In that pre-internet time Alice was mostly presented in magazines with his trademark make up . MOL changed that, WTMN again had Alice without make up so it seemed the Alice-image was changing.. I had the album in my possession for about three weeks befo...
