The Kids Singing On School's Out

While there are credits for the kids that sang on songs like Department of Youth and My God, I don't think I've ever seen it specified who the kids are on School's Out. Has this been mentioned on anything?

The kids on Stolen Prayer don't seem to get listed anywhere either.

Re: In the Court of the Cooper King

By the magic of YouTube, here it is!

On viewing it again, after all these years, it doesn't bother me much. I was raging at the time.

Re: In the Court of the Cooper King

This brings back unwelcome memories of Hazel O'Connor and her dreadful version of the song when she covered it in a kid's TV show in which she played a school pupil whilst being in her mid twenties, at least.

It's been pointed out that for YEARS I've had the bands name misspelt!
It's "Sapphire".
And here was me wondering where they got the odd name from.

Re: “82”

I'll always remember the end of Shaphire's set at Glasgow. The singer said words to the effect of "I love you Glasgow. I love you so much I'm going to leave you my jacket" at which point he took off his patch-covered denim jacket and threw it into the audience near me. It landed directly on the lap ...

never seen one, but i agree it would probably sell well. i'd like to see one done w/ notable AC events noted in the day boxes as opposed to just a generic calendar club type thing.
That is an excellent idea

Alice Cooper Official Calendar

Has this ever been a thing? Other than the original Killer album of course! I don't recall any but it might have passed me by. With more and more artists ramping up the merchandising as an income stream, it would be strange for someone as visual as Alice not to have bothered doing something that is ...

Re: New single - 'Our Love Will Change The World'

If he really wanted to record this, it should have been the B-side to Don't Give Up The most straightforward cover since Pretty Ballerina? I found it a little bit catchy, in an unwelcome No More Love at Your Convenience way - it got in my head but I didn't enjoy it being there. I doubt I'll listen t...

Re: An Alice Cooper vinyl box set

I watched an unboxing of the Ozzy one and then similar for the Sabbath box. The presentation does look sexy, although the posters seem like an unnecessary inclusion, who's going to put those up? It swung me from an absolutely not to someone who would consider it for a good quality original group box...

Re: Detroit Stories first song "Rock 'N' Roll" to be available Fri 11-13-20

I've listened to it twice now and it's yet another one of those songs that's OK but I have no real interest in returning to. I agree that it's not a strong album opener. A version of Search and Destroy with his current band could have been a blistering way to begin the record, whilst still being poi...

Re: New album cover

Shame gatherings will probably still be restricted next year because with all the covers it would have been sure to be have been toured properly with several songs from it done live :rotfl: Cue Rob Zombie VoiceOver - "Alice...Alice...think way back to Detroit, the city that shaped you...blah blah b...

Re: New album cover

Plenty of us were hoping Hollywood Vampires was going to get the need for covers out of the way of his own stuff. Really disappointing to see them piling up on the new record.

Re: Album opinion change

I agree about School's Out. I became obsessed with Alice around 1984. I loved the sleeve with the folding out desk, but didn't play that album nearly as much as the others. I now think it's one of my favourites, although I usually skip Track 1! I never cared for the song 'School's Out'. That and El...

Re: New album cover

Whether or not the cover is a decent concept, why are the eyes so bad?

Am I alone in seeing quite a strong similarity to the movie poster for The Dark Knight?

Re: Live at Glasgow '82 - 2lp RSD 20202

I had a similar experience of this gig as some of the previous comments. I can still vividly remember a kid walking up to me in school and saying, "Have you seen Alice Cooper is coming to the Apollo?" I also thought it would be my one and only chance to see him live since, as we all thought, he was ...

It's on a site called SickthingsUK as well since yesterday.... in the albums section It appeared on AmazonUS yesterday. I'm also hoping it isn't the real cover.... Surely it can't be the real cover.... I fear it might well be the real thing, or something very close to it. You've got a little ahead ...
