Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

I've no doubt that a good chunk of the set will be the same as usual but I hope he throws us a few new (or rather 'not played for a few tours') songs like he did with The World Needs Guts and Pain last time round. Given how much Alice loved doing cover versions on the "Raise The Dead" tour, and the ...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

After the farce of the numerous pre-sales in 2017, I wasn't holding out much hope of getting anything decent this time (and almost fell into the 'best available seat' trap as others have mentioned :nono:) but managed to score a front row, centre block ticket for Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham

Re: Another new live Alice dvd when??

The final show of 2017 in Paris was filmed, presumably for later release. I understand that 'the OGs' were filmed using some kind of fancy 'virtual reality' cameras so I'm not sure where that footage will be used...?

Re: Tour 2017!

The Eventim ticket page for Manchester has the following set times (subject to change).
I would assume this will be the same for all the UK dates.

Set times:
7.00 - 7.40 The Tubes
8.00 - 8.50 The Mission
9.20 - 10.55 Alice Cooper

Re: New tour

The April/May US dates and the August Euro festivals are billed on AC.com as 'Spend The Night with Alice Cooper'. Hopefully the fact that the UK dates are listed differently as 'Alice Cooper With Special Guests The Mission and The Tubes' indicates a new tour (or wishful thinking?!).

Nita guitar pick wanted

I'm on the hunt for one of Nita's guitar picks if anyone has a spare they are willing to part with?
Despite being on the barrier in front of her at Swindon, the tall bloke behind me managed to grab all of them that came in my direction!

Re: Presales Plymouth & Swindon

If anyone wants a ticket for Swindon, save money by NOT booking with Ticketmaster! Face value is £37.50. Ticketmaster are charging a service charge of £5.60 and £5.50 for postage = £48.60. I've just bought one direct from the venue, to print at home, for £40! https://oasis.cloudvenue.co.uk/alicecoop...

Re: Live at wacken

I'm still waiting for my Blu-ray copy to arrive, can anyone confirm if it comes in the same folded CD-size set as the DVD version (which I saw down the shops today)? I assume so! According to the UDR site, the Blu-ray is an Amaray case. I hope so, I hate Digipacks! http://www.udr-music.com/index.ph...

Re: Any Reports of the Albuquerque, NM show ?

Whilst you can't believe setlist.fm as gospel, if they've dropped songs I guess it's because the set needs to be shorter than a 'solo' show i.e. no Manson. IF that list is correct, missing from what became the standard Raise The Dead set (excluding covers) are: Be My Lover ::((: Caffeine Congregatio...

Great show, shame the covers were taken out. Sounded so much better, and was better directed, than the Ally Pally show on Sky last year. Amazing to think that 24 hrs ago I'd just seen the show in Frankfurt and now I'm watching tonight's show back in Blighty!

Re: Thoughts On "Elected" as set closer?

Elected is a great show closer and there is one part I particularly miss. In the past Alice has used it to introduce the band which is our opportunity to show our appreciation for them individually. Correct me if I'm wrong (and no doubt, someone will!) but I don't think he has name-checked the band ...

Re: London live cd

How is the sound on the 'new' ConcertLive release? I bought the Birmingham show and it was awful (strangely my feedback comments on their website never appeared...) with a lot of guitar parts and backing vocals barely audible, especially during the first few tracks. Then there is the fade in/out bet...
