Dismayed to see a second delivery message saying "delivered through letterbox" in my email while I was out.
Two attempts, two non appearances!

Re: European 2025 Tour
Not just Alice though. Just about anything which hits a major venue gets this treatment. I just looked through eight acts coming to the Glasgow Hydro. Tickets start at over £100 for six of them with the other two at over £85. Seven have the Premium pricing on top. I hear your comments, I don’t do ma...

Re: Final Hammersmith 2024 filmed
I wish the Alice Camp would do a deal with this site that active members get offered VIP tickets, I would happily pay a premium. That would be 4 seats in the center of Glasgow straight away to try and liven up an atmosphere. a token number i know but it could be one of many ways of targeting die ha...

Re: Gary Graff's Alice Cooper @75 Book
Hawing an argument with Amazon who say they delivered it a couple of days ago through the letterbox. No they didn’t.
If anyone got it from Amazon with the usual packaging can you tell me if it would fit through a standard letterbox please?

Re: European 2025 Tour
The ordering process stalled three times and I lost my tickets each time. Started with tickets in the row G and ended up in row X. Not happy but at least I got them. Looks like a sell out v soon.

Re: European 2025 Tour
in 2001, second row at the Playhouse cost me £18.50 - second row this year is £645 from what I saw earlier (had a brief look while I was at a gig, I'm home now and the site is down "for scheduled maintenance"). I think I'm now finally done - no other band* pulls this shit every single tour, and all...

Re: European 2025 Tour
Delighted to see this.
I was talking myself out of the O2 gig due to cost and not being too bothered by Judas Priest nowadays. Edinburgh is different. A theatre, a sellout and a good vibe...plus the pubs and able to get home after the gig. I'm in.

Re: Film upgrades
Sorry Si, that’s what I’m getting at, there aren’t enough people there to support a positive decision on this. Should probably have said “are there REALLY…” If it’s one or two thousand then it’s a complete non-starter based on the time, effort and costs, unless you are going to charge a fortune for ...

Re: Film upgrades
Unfortunately, I think you’re right. There is no obvious scale to the core fanbase that would make it an easy decision to invest here. Sure, Alice does a great job of keeping the name and catalogue alive through the tours but that is where the money is now. Are one or two hundred thousand folk reall...

Re: Alice and Whistle Pig
Having just saturated myself with the odd dram or five over Hogmanay I’m on the wagon now but I’ll be paying £1.99 for my alcohol free amber nectar - Irn Bru.

Re: If There was a Radical Setlist Change
Change the setlist and half the price of tickets, might just go again if that happened. And take out the Pink Floyd bit in School's Out, cannot stand them. I think Alice is fair with tickets tbh if you play the long game. When Oasis mania hit the UK I spent a good 5 hours queing to get 4 tickets at...

Re: European 2025 Tour
Sat right in front of them at the Alice gig at Glasgow Hydro either in 2017 or 2022. Surreal evening with a drunk and chatty Winston from Still Game behind my wife and Phil behind my mate. Really friendly nice guys.

Re: Muscle of love expanded
What’s the deal with the UK here?
Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. We don’t have big numbers but we certainly have commitment. I’d have thought there would be more or less a guarantee of reasonable numbers here..

Certainly not the best covers but ideal if you have a baby grandson staying over.

Re: Muscle of love expanded
Allmost at my home. Shame I was hit two times with import duties. This is what I was worried about. Well, that just put me off a lot. I’ve been on the edge here as I wasn’t a big fan of MOL in the first place. Comments were tipping me towards buying it but it was a top end price for me in the first...

I think you’re right. Can’t find anything from the BP tour now that I’ve looked.
New level of stupid question - I can see him using the buckle on at least two different belts. What’s that all about??

You just talking about the covers in the setlist or the whole thing? I hated the covers but really enjoyed the rest.Saint&Sinner wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2024 3:35 pmBut i have enjoyed greatly the last few gigs he has been doing. this is a far cry from the frankly horrendous "Raise the dead" setlist *shudders* that was just all shades of bad.

Re: Live at Glasgow '82 - 2lp RSD 20202
I don’t play this often but even the thought of the gig is enough to bring some of the emotion of the night back. Found the Special forces T-shirt I bought at the gig when I was looking out a shirt for the recent gig in Glasgow. Gave me two thoughts. 1) Not in a million years would I have expected t...
