Re: Psychodrama or TOD tour?

I love the TOD. Its my favorite tour since 2000. My tour list would be :

2. Brutal Planet
3. Dragontown
4. PsychoDrama
5. Dirty Diamonds

7. Bare Bones

Re: Tickets not sent

I got my ticket for the 29/9/09 Richmond show thru AC.com. It was VIP & will call. All tickets for the venue were general admission, so i was worried about not being able to get up front. I was able to pick my ticket early that afternoon, plus VIP holders were allowed in the venue 15 minutes before ...

[quote="damiennalice"]HEY - did you get your tattoo signed ??

Yes Alice signed it & said he was sorry he didn't have one of me on him. He then talked about his fear of needles.

Re: Richmond

I was at Richmond & it was a great show. This tour is on of my favorites. The show moves so fast that it doesn't seem like its 90 minutes. One thing that happened last night was the platform was not used on "Vengence is Mine". I had a VIP ticket & backstage Alice told us that the one of the rails on...

Re: So, WHY ALICE?

For me the biggest factor is the songwriting. Alice has always been great storyteller & has never been one dimensional. He can write so many different ways to tell the story. I think Bob Ezrin described it best at the begining of the "Prime Cuts" video when he talked how Alice is all these differern...

Re: Stage Props.....Caught any?

I have some of the dollar bills, a Roxie guitar pick, & the lolipop stick from Unfinishes Sweet in '99. Alice busted the lolipop into tiny pieces on the mic stand before tossing the stick out. Those of us in the front row thought we would get a glove that night. On the R-N-R Carnival tour he played ...

Re: DaDa

I really love the album myself... I agree there is a lot of depth to it and it harkens back to the 75-77 sound a lot. Since this album reunited Ezrin and Alice after a few years apart, I often think about what the results would be if Ezrin and Alice truly did another album together. The 75-77 album...

Re: The Eyes of Alice Cooper vs Dirty Diamonds

I think Eyes has better songs, but DD sounds better to me. I like the big production albums with the polished sound on them. I wouldn't put DD in that catagory, to me it sounds more full then EYES.

Re: How about Constrictor vs. RYFAY?

I'm RYFAY on this one. On Constrictor i like Teenage Frankenstein, Give it Up, & He's Back. To me Thrill my Gorilla, Life & Death of the Party are bad, & the rest is ok. On RYFAY the 1st half is ok, but the 2nd half to me is the best music Alice put out on these 2 albums. I think Alice's vocals & Ka...

Re: IS IT WORTH IT?

The shows i've been to before, the buses were parked in a security area & fans were not allowed to get close to them. Most shows i've been to have been general admision, so i always got there 6 hours before doors opened. I met the band, roadies, & even the snake owner waiting outside before. The one...

Re: Dada or RYFAY?

I'd go with DaDa. I like both. I think the second half of RYFAY is the best material from the Constrictor/RYFAY period. I would have love to heard "Prince of Darkness" thrown in the Brutal Planet/Dragontown sets. I'd pick DaDa because its Alice working with Wagner & Ezrin.

Re: Frankenstein Illusion

I remember the post about this a few years ago. Its probally been that long since i've posted on here. What i remeber is the person saying that the illusion is based on an old trick where a table or platform in this case looks to be normal. The bottom of the platform is not straight, it is narrow on...
