From The Inside vinyl - trying to figure out which pressing I have

Hi, trying to identify which pressing I have of From The Inside - looking on discogs but maybe collectors on here can help. This is the sleeve I have, which seems to be a French or German pressing: https://www.discogs.com/release/4719653-Alice-Cooper-From-The-Inside/image/SW1hZ2U6MjY1MDAzMTg= But th...

Re: UK Tickets

Looks like Glasgow attendance will be well down on the last visit. Don’t know the cause as I’ve been at a couple of gigs at the hydro recently and attendances for Simple Minds and Ghost have held up fine. I haven't even looked at tickets yet - precisely because it's all seated and we know what a mi...

Re: Something Is Coming/new mailing list

I would expect this new mailing list to be about new Alice Cooper records/tour dates etc... but I know no more then you at this stage. Alice's FB story is now showing 2020 tour dates are imminent, with Lita Ford as support. I'd guess North America, but no further info. Just that VIP packages go on ...

Re: Something Is Coming/new mailing list

I suspect/hope it might be an Astroturf DVD release, or a live DVD - but Alice is also long overdue a complete back catalogue reissue, inasmuch as record labels are jumping on vinyl boxsets these days, so....

Something Is Coming/new mailing list

"Something is coming minions...sign up" https://widget-platform.fanbridge.com/widget/render/32731?utm_source=social_net&utm_medium=short_link&utm_campaign=share From the official FB page, it looks like a new mailing list - signing up, there's an option to ask Alice a question, though whether that's ...

Re: Manchester

Setlist was brilliant (I looked it up in advance, and still didn't register just how much has changed or some of the tracks included), stage set is all new and works well for them - I kept myself in the dark about that, and it was great to see just how many new theatrical elements there are. The cro...

Sheryl Cooper, Alice's wife, plays the nurse in the show.
Yeah, I know that's been the case for a few years now. I saw something from Calico recently that made me think she was out with them, but it's possible it was an old photo, a crossing of paths on the road, or that I am simply mistaken :)

Re: Tour 2018!

Unlikely. She only really does occasional guest appearances if she happens to be around. She stopped touring with her father years ago. Thanks. I thought I'd seen a social media post recently that looked like she was on the road with them, but quite possible it was a one-off, or that I misinterpret...

Does anyone know if Calico will be in the show for the UK leg of the tour?

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

As someone with the most peripheral awareness of them, I just realised that Halestorm and Alestorm are unrelated bands. Personally, I'd rather see Alestorm... Interesting to me that Motionless In White are on the tour - I only know of them through Chris' guest vocals on a 2016 Combichrist track. I l...

Re: Alice and Big Country

Pete Wishart does mention that that tour was the end of Big Country, or certainly his part in the band - which would be a very viable reason, if they imploded mid-tour.

Alice and Big Country

When did Alice tour with Big Country, was that the Special Forces tour?

Pete Wishart MP mentions it in this brief interview snippet, regarding his background playing for The Skids, Big Country, and Runrig.

Re: VIP got VERY expensive?

I've said it before on here, but I've effectively given up on bigger gigs. Even smaller gigs, there's very little that excites me, but a couple of my friends promote (100-500 capacity clubs) and I regularly go and see whoever they're putting on. I resent paying more than £30 for a ticket, or £20 for...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

I was looking at Manchester, as a Glaswegian there's no way I'm going to Aberdeen. Best available just now is 12 rows back in block D (stage left), so I'll wait and try general release for something better - but I'm not committed, if I find nearer the front, fine. I'll travel for that. But I'm not t...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

Is it weird that I almost don't want a Glasgow show announced, because then I'll have to decide whether or not to go - or, more specifically, have to decide whether to wrestle with another ticketing clusterf-ck just to get a half-decent seat....?

Re: Vampires UK dates with the Darkness and the Damned

Cool blog dude, I enjoyed reading that. Thanks. Had a look today, on three different sites, but couldn't find any tickets that I want to pay £62 for. I finally drew the line last year when Iron Maiden wanted £70, and I think I just found my limit with Alice. For £60 this year, I can buy tickets to ...
