Re: Setlist

Went to the Manchester show last night and wanted to share my thoughts. I thought Creeper were OK. Nothing special or unique about them to make them stand out but I have seen worse support bands. I thought The Cult were excellent. Ian Astbury reminds me a bit of Jim Morrison. His voice has some simi...

Re: Setlist

Slightly disappointed with this. Going off the set-list and the stage set up from Youtube videos, this is basically the same show as the last UK Tour; albeit with a shorter set. I was hoping for a few more songs he didn't play last time and a revamp of the stage set. The other bands on the bill (The...

Welcome To My Nightmare - The Musical

It seems that Alice has written a stage musical.

Re: The Alice Cooper Show 1977

I love live albums. The best ones contain versions of songs that are much better than the studio versions - Kiss Alive, Deep Purple Made In Japan, Hawkwind Space Ritual, Judas Priest Unleashed In The East etc Whereas The Alice Cooper Show the studio verions are better. If I want to listen to Child I...

Re: New single - 'Our Love Will Change The World'

I expect to hear this on a TV commercial very soon. It is really catchy and very different to Alice's 'normal' sound.

Alice's grey hair

I see that Alice has not been dyeing his hair during lockdown. His grey roots are now about 6 inches long. I am hoping he grows the black hair out and go totally grey. He's in his 70s and just like McCartney I think he would look better with his natural coloured hair rather than the false looking je...

I prefer the original video, it has humour, and I don't like the drum track on the new vdeo. Too intrusive.

Liverpool Empire - Welcome To My Nightmare 1975

The interior of the theatre is exactly the same as it was then. Only differences are more modern ticket office and bar.

Re: New song and video "Don't give up" coming!

I've enjoyed it & downloaded from iTunes. But, if a 7" is being released what do they have for a "B" side? They do have cover art for it. Collectors will snap it up! I'm just hoping for some actual airplay on the Local Rock Station. They have picked up* The Stones "Ghost Town" & as good as that is ...

Re: New song and video "Don't give up" coming!

I really like it. Some people have said they don't like the talking in it. I think that's one of the best parts of the song. I like that he has used his normal conversational voice. Would have ruined it if he'd tried to sound 'scary'. I was expecting an anthem. Pleasantly surprised we got something ...

Re: Betty Wright No Tricks

I doubt Alice had any say what tracks were used as singles B sides.

I like No Tricks. Is it any 'darker' or that different to Jackknife Johnny? I bought How You Gonna See Me Now? just for No Tricks. And as it was included on The Life and Crimes... boxset I am happy to have it on CD.
