Re: Alice with Tesla and Lita Ford Summer Tour

The June 26th show in Burgettstown, PA was just canceled (not postponed) so one would assume the whole tour has been shelved for now.

Re: 65 Quid For an Autograph!

There's no way I would pay that much for an autograph but Just curious is Alice charging that much or is the Film & Comic Con setting the prices... Only because I once read that for certain sports stars... the stars are paid so much for being there and the place that has them charges what they want...

Re: 65 Quid For an Autograph!

It takes moments, not money (which has already been spent) on a message board, (Thanks to Si & his board!) & might have results with more info in addition to adding to others appreciation of band/artist. It's a chore to save/protect a signature on an article without loss or damage due to unforeseen...

Re: 65 Quid For an Autograph!

I must be the odd man out, but I don't care for autographs and meet and greets. I bought the records when I was a teen, listened to them and went to the concerts. Thats how I still like it. It seems weird to me for people to want so much more out of another human being. And some people would think ...

Re: 65 Quid For an Autograph!

How many zillions of autographs has Alice given out in his career? And still, some people are silly enough to PAY $85 for his autograph. Oh yeah, it gives you a personal connection to him....just like he is personally connected to those other zillion people he has given his autograph. It's called a...

Re: 65 Quid For an Autograph!

While not cheap, it's not exorbitant. It's pretty much market rate. I've been to events like these and Alice is usually the biggest draw with hundreds of people waiting to get his autograph. And they always walk away smiling. Some people have disposable income and are glad to have the opportunity to...

Yea, the way it was mentioned sounded like he's doing a separate project working with other known artists, but specifically mentioned the song with Alice.

Desmond Child with Alice

Just happened to stumble across a Desmond Child interview on SiriusXM.

He talks about recording an album of him doing a bunch of the songs he co-wrote over the years.

Then he mentions he's also going to release a single with Alice Cooper (a duet) in the next year.

Re: Breadcrumbs

First listened to this on Spotify on the way home from an out-of-town trip... was driving and not alone so couldn't really focus on it... but "Go Man Go" really stood out for me... assumed it was another cover. Was pleasantly surprised when I saw it was an original tune because it's a good one and i...

Re: New 10” record

I'm in the US and it wants to charge me international shipping of $11.50 which is more than the item itself.

Are they really shipping these from the UK as that is the default shipping option?

RARHOF Alice Cooper Fan Day - Live From The Astroturf / Cold Cold Coffin

I was at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame yesterday for Alice Cooper Fan Day and was able to see the "Live From The Astroturf" film. It is a KILLER film! I was really impressed with how well put together it is. It does a great job telling the story of how the entire event came together interspersed wi...

I wonder if this is what I missed...
I was there and Dennis, Joe and Albert played "School's Out" and "Don't Fear The Reaper" with the School Of Rock kids.

It was a fun short performance, especially with the latter having a ton of the kids playing cow bell.

If you were a hair metal fan in your youth it will mean a lot to you and no amount of "my favourite music is better than yours" will change that. I'm fairly sure that without these folk the number of members on this site would be a lot smaller and the average a lot higher.
Spot on.

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

It HAS the piano if you listen to the clips... It must be way down in the mix but I was talking about the layered piano that fills out the sound. That said, I went back and watched the video and it sounds better than I was remembering from the show. I'm sure it will get even tighter as that was sho...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

There are 3 songs that absolutely have to be in a full length Alice Cooper set at this point: Eighteen School's Out Poison As far as the original band, the LITD through MOL albums are pure brilliance and their importance can't be overestimated. However, Alice has had lots of great solo material over...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

HOWEVER---if Alice and the band can't make a song of the caliber and quality of "My Stars" work in any show or setting then it's time to put the mascara in the drawer and head on out to the golf course for good! You really need to dial back the dramatics... it's hard to take you seriously at this p...
