Re: "Road" - Reviews
I don't have any expectations. They've done more than just a couple of songs together in the last years and i wasn't blown away from them. For what it's worth you forgot "A Runaway Train" and "I'll Bite Your Face Off". Also only Dennis played on "Fireball" and "The Sound of A" and no one from the o...

Re: "Road" - Reviews
Considering it came from a man who wore dresses, make up etc it's hardly surprising. We are living in a Country that is banning Dr Seuss Hop On Pop for Gods sake. His comments were fanning the flames of hatred. I believe there is at least one transgender member here that posts. It must be very hurt...

I think there's already a brief clip of Gene Vincent with Dennis and Michael visable in the trailer.

Re: 1st date of the fall tour 9/7/22 in Bethlehem, PA
She wasn't that great of a player. Those things don't involve sex appeal. How was Nita in the band a gimmick? Because she's a woman? Her outfits were similar to the rest of the band (tight trousers and shirts and wests), and other women in rock. Heck Chuck shows more skin, but that is not considere...

Re: 1st date of the fall tour 9/7/22 in Bethlehem, PA
Gimmicks have always been part of the Alice Cooper experience. From the name of the band, the costumes, the make up to all the props. Thankfully the music comes first. Re: Setlist
There is an average review of the Swansea concert in The Guardian https://www.theguardian.com/music/2022/may/24/alice-cooper-review-cult-tour-swansea-arena It probably wasn’t woke enough for The Guardian. As Rod Stewart once said “all journalists should be shot” It's a review that basically amounts...

Re: 2022 hopes and dreams
While outside song writers feels a bit dissapointing, I think it's more important for me that the band plays on the whole album. It's also interesting if it's complete songs being brought in from outside writers or just ideas for the band/Alice/Ezrin to build on.

Re: Detroit Stories Review
After a few spins I am starting to form an opinion on this DS. One consideration comes up in my mind: Does the "Villain" still exist? Would like to know what you thin about I mean, you could ask that question at many different times in Alice's career. You could ask that about Lace and Whiskey, abou...

Re: Touring band to feature on next album!
In the band meeting Roxie also asked Bob about the solo on Don't Give Up, sounded like he had recorded one but didn't know if it had ended up on the album. Am I reading that correctly? Yeah, heard this also. I haven't seen Ryan's names on any credits, although there is a solo on the album version o...

Re: I Hate You
So "I Hate You" appears to be a song about the ACG members slagging of each other and everyone singing on it, right?
"You Wanted the Best" by KISS also features the original members sharing vocals for the first time and bitching about each other.
Just a IMO fun observation.

Re: I Hate You
So, now that "Don't Give Up" is 30 or so seconds longer, it's been given a Title Re-vamp? :bam: "Hanging On By A Thread (Don't Give Up)" Well it also has different lyrics. It seems likely to me that "Hanging on By a Thread" was the original titel, and after they'd done the different covid-related v...

Re: Social Debris
The muscianship is very good, always nice to hear Dennis and really good solo Steven. But there's something about it that only makes me think of other songs when I hear it. For example, the verses just makes me wanna sing "Addicted to Love" instead (or rather Weird Als "Addicted to Spuds" since I'm ...

Re: New single - 'Our Love Will Change The World'
I quite like it. It'll be interesting to see it in the context of the album. It's also worth noting, that while it's musically pretty much a straight cover quite a fair bit of the lyrics has been changed, the entire second verse is essentially new for example. Also noticable is that the Outrageous C...

Re: New album cover
First single is 'Rock'n'Roll' and it's yet another cover, this time that well known Detroit band Velvet Underground.... (they're from NYC) Apparently Lou Reed WROTE it in Detroit.. kinda tenuous surely... I think it's more to do with Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels putting it out as a single in '7...

Re: Old School Uncool
That album cover is uncomfortably bad. Just scrolling through the news page here it first looked like someone hacked the site with a porn ad. Even if you wanted to make that stupid choice and have a woman in bikini on the cover that's the picture you choose? A random stock softcore porn image? The a...
