New theory on an old album
Don't know this was discussed before - apologies if redundant. I don't know how this never occurred to me before, but today I'm looking at the back cover of LITD and seeing the familiar incorrect line up of songs. The first line has 5 songs, listing Caught In A Dream/I'm Eighteen/Hallowed Be My Name...

Re: An Alice Cooper vinyl box set
Yeah just because I stopped being a completist, others have not. I did buy 1 of the re-issues. Greatest Hits because oddly enough, I only had GH on cassette never had it on vinyl, so I splurged but have not bought any of the coloured vinyl re-issues or anything post Trash on vinyl except Paranormal ...

I don't think I'm even going to listen to this, let alone purchase it.

Re: An Alice Cooper vinyl box set
The initial Old School release cost me a bundle, and initially I thought they had done something pretty special so I didn't mind the price tag too much. But when I actually listened to the set, I realized I had been sold a bill of goods once again. I decided that was it. I am not shelling out for re...

Re: video Asbury Park 1971 pro-shot ??
from the video quality (not talking about the high generation versions we have seen) but it looks more like a hobbiest with more pro-sumer equipment. Perhaps shot originally on this format http://www.labguysworld.com/Akai_VT-100.htm Doesn't look like 1 inch or 2 inch video tape of the time. Still a ...

Re: Live at Glasgow '82 - 2lp RSD 20202
I'm hoping for a regular cd release of this. I've been waiting for literally decades for this concert to be released in a complete form with really good quality - it would be a shame to limit it to just a vinyl release of 7000 and depriving fans not lucky enough to pick one up on RSD or pay the exto...

Re: Live at Glasgow '82 - 2lp RSD 20202
To the folks who have this, I have a couple of questions
Sound quality - is it on par or better than the For Britain Only EP?
Is it the complete show? Does it have the WDYTWA Reprise and the entire School's Out

Re: Album opinion change
I feel that way about every album after Dragontown although I may spin Paranormal again but honestly haven't listened to it since I initially bought it and played it once.

Re: Alice Unplugged
I think it could have been an interesting idea if approached differently than what the "Unplugged" series normally did. To hear acoustic B$B/Eighteen or an all acoustic ballad like INC or OWB wouldn't have been exciting. But to do a different music genre like like incorporate a tin-pan alley or old ...

Re: For Veronica's Sake
2nd worst album after ACAS. Horrible hokey bollocks. You could stop at David Foster! I always puzzle at your hatred for this record. I love it, a strong come back record after the weak L&W. For my tastes, not a bad track on the album. 10 strong songs, great album package and I really like the conce...

Re: Live at Glasgow '82 - 2lp RSD 20202
Have to say the album cover is really weak. I'm guessing it is a gatefold which makes me wonder what the inside will be like. I agree with you (shock horror!) If it's NOT a gatefold sleeve with some really cool photos inside I will be very disappointed, as I was with the Texas '73 RSD vinyl sleeve....

Re: Live at Glasgow '82 - 2lp RSD 20202
Great news. It's the one radio broadcast from post original band, that hasn't had a pre-broadcast source circulated. I hope I can snag a copy. Haven't lined up for a RSD since 2014 but I may for this release. It's listed as an RSD only release. So I hope it's taken from pre-broadcast tapes and Schoo...

Loved his playing on the "blackout" albums and the tours. Big contributor to the sound. Never had any contact with him so I just say to friends, fans and family, I appreciated his playing and is a part of my personal music enjoyment history - thank you Erik Scott

Re: Lou Reed - Rock and Roll Animal
good info on the Budokan record. A bit off topic here but I thought about that whole doctored Live albums and while authenticity is preferred, I love a great seventies live album and if you have to tweak and cut a bit, so be it. I wish the ACG would have done a complete live off the floor School's O...
