Re: List some youtube videos of Alice Cooper that should be officially released on dvd

I would love to see the full version of this 1972 promo of School's Out... They used this exact footage on Don Kirshner's Rock concert except it was longer and they also spliced in the hanging scene https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HeoskdvAn2w I also would love to see Midnight Special's Tribute to Al...

Don’t Blow Your Mind

Hello Dennis! I was glancing through these pages to see if you already answered anything about this tune and didn’t see anything(sorry if I Missed it)…. Was Don’t Blow Your Mind ever going to appear on Pretties For You or Easy Action? On the recording from the Toronto Rock and Roll Revival the song ...

Re: Vinyl, CD, MP3 or ?

Personally…I love cd’s the best but it’s more so that I love collecting cd’s. I have a 260gb IPod that came out about 3 years ago so I transferred most of my collection of cds and vinyl to that ipod(as soon as I buy a new cd or vinyl I put it into my laptop and then right on the iPod). I love having...

AC Group song on “Only Murders in the Building”

We watch the show “Only Murders in the Building” that stars Steve Martin, Selina Gomez, and Martin Short and we just began watching the new episode and to my surprise they actually played “ Big Apple Dreamin’(Hippo)… I was just surprised hearing that song on a TV show.

favorite Cover tunes played in the 60's

I'm really enjoying reading these questions & answers, so thanks a million for taking the time! Just curious...Back in the 1960's what were some of your favorite tunes to cover live? I've always been one to love to know what songs influence bands... Thank You Dennis!

Re: Gilligans Buffalo, NY

I think we played in Buffalo just a few days after the "Chicken Incident" in Toronto. If that was the venue, all I recall is that people had rubber chickens and were chanting, chicken, chicken, chicken. We weren't sure what they meant because the rumors from Toronto had beat us to Buffalo. - DD LOL...

Gilligans Buffalo, NY

Thanks for taking the time here... I didn't discover the music of Alice Cooper until 1977 when I was 14/15 years old. I especially loved the original Alice Cooper Group's music & I used to go to half price bookstores & buy old issues of Creem, Circus, & Rock Scene magazines to read articles on the b...

Re: Live at Glasgow '82 - 2lp RSD 20202

What can I say?...I love this! It brought back memories of seeing this tour in North Tonawanda, NY(Near Buffalo)...I had been a huge Cooper fan since I bought the Alice Cooper Show when it was first released a few years earlier & within a short span of time I had all of his albums and a couple of Ki...

Re: Eddie Trunk Top 20

Everyone is a bit different but a bunch of these tunes would make my list(especially the first 5)... The one song I always loved for some reason is “Never Been Sold Before” And that would definitely make my list. The ending of the tune drags on a bit long but that tune don’t get many mentions anywh...

That’s cool he’s doing an Alice Cooper Top 20 But I can see him saying how much he liked the original band and his favorite tune by them is “Welcome to my Nightmare”... :( Sorry... But I remember him having Ann & Nancy Wilson on his show and they were playing Stump the Trunk where the audience ask ...

Re: Mike Pinera

Yeah, I figured that there's no way he'd remember that... I basically wrote that because that's just something that bugged me over the years & wondered if I was right. I know what you mean about SAHB live cd's even though I never seen them live. Framed seemed to drag a bit on that live record but I ...
