Re: Mike Pinera
I was really looking forward to this interview, that is probably my fave Alice era and I'm always hungry for more info.
I'm sad that it did not turn out the way I was hoping for, anyway thanks for giving it a try.

Re: Hey Stoopid era setlist question
Actually, on this very site, it is stated that Generation Landslide WAS played at the first show of the tour, but dropped from the setlist from the second show on. Here's the link: http://www.sickthingsuk.co.uk/07-timelines/21-hs.php And here's the excerpt: "July 9th '91 Salt Lake City, UT, Salt Pal...

Re: From the Inside
Interesting. Was there lyrics to it? I saw that tour and remember "Wish You Were Here" thrown in instrumentally during a jam. Yes, it was a standard rock kinda song, lyrics and all. Yes, WYWH was an instrumental as was It's Hot Tonight. http://www.sickthingsuk.co.uk/content.php?id=setlists/1970setl...

Re: Alice As Herod
There were some other nice touches as well - the allusion to 'No More Mr. Nice Guy' with the cane at the start, the mention of 'Raise The Dead' (which, of course, was a previous tour/project), the black, giallo-esque gloves and Alice lapping up the applause at the end (all that was missing was " an...

Re: Micharel Bruce book new edition
This was actually announced a few months ago (December to be exact), so has dropped off the news page. They were taking pre-orders for a special edition back then, with photos etc, but I think it's possibly sold out now as there were only a handful left when I last looked.. Thanks. I think I have m...

Micharel Bruce book new edition
Found this, did not see it in the news so I thought I'd post it here: Gonzo Multimedia will release Michael Bruce's critically acclaimed biography "No More Mr. Nice Guy" revised. Also available is a limited edition signed by Michael Bruce. Full article here: http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/alice-co...

Re: New Billboard article reveals 2018/2019 tour plans
Not that it matters much, but really 15 songs? I think they're much less, as many "hits" have been in and out of the setlist quite continuously. Songs like Ethyl, Lover, Body, Muscle, Nightmare, Lost come to mind but there's more. I think he actually switches the setlist pretty much, the real proble...

Re: Goes To Hell........
This album has a few of my personal all time faves, a few songs I totally dislike, and another few songs that I think are good. It is quite impossible for me to have a single opinion on the album as a whole.

Re: Can alice still shock?
I think his biggest shock hasnt happend yet. The ultimate SHOCK. And fits in so well with para normal. A tour dedicated to this album and tracks he hasnt played. And the GREATEST shock of all?? NO THEATRICS. Just a good soild concert. 2003's Bare Bones Tour was basically no theatrics, although he s...

Re: New album update
Baffled by some of the comments regarding the drums. I think they sound great.... lively and real. Unlike the awfully compressed drums on ACAS. Probably cause you're a musician and you know what you're talking about. Unlike someone who just read the name U2 and automatically decided it was crap :) ...

Re: ACG Nashville reunion
That would be leaving things very late so I very much doubt it. If they can sell instant live cd's at the end of a show, I don't think this is such a weird thought. And in case the performance was not that stellar to put it out on an official release, there is still two months to overdub or fix thi...

Re: If ACG toured without Alice
If the singer was Iggy that would be perfect and yes, I would go.
Other possible choice: Mike Monroe.
As far as the guitar player goes, anyone that is no guitar hero or metal shredder would be fine with me.

Re: Tour 2017!
As long as it stays in, Pain can be wherever in the setlist :) More than half of it this time is Alice solo material, which is a welcome news for me. Love Brutal Planet, The world needs guts, also a great addition in Escape, and Pain is a dream come true. Could do without Woman but hey. Fantastic ne...

Re: Live at wacken
On amazon.de there is the track-listing for the Amazon exclusive version. According to that site, the audio CD's actually include Revolution and Foxy Lady. No track-listing available for standard versions, nor any other versions on other Amazon sites (I've checked uk, usa, italy) which leaves a litt...
