Re: Good to see you again,AC

I had never heard of any film crew that requested less light. I found it interesting that, for most of their show, the WTMN band was kept in the shadows as well. Likely to clarify Alice as a solo entity, and perhaps to keep the audience from realizing it wasn't the Alice Cooper group. I always look...

Re: A Paranormal Evening At The Olympia Paris DVD / Blu-Ray release

However, I was quite surprised that the Another Brick In The Wall-snippet got cut out during School's Out. Especially because it is on the CD-release of the same concert. That was kind of strange. I noticed that as the 60 minute TV version that was on YouTube had the 'Another Brick in the Wall' seg...

Re: Social Debris

I like the song, but it isn't a classic to my ears despite the original band's input, plus I note the guitar solo at 1:38 has a cheeky little nod to the intro of Halo of Flies, or maybe it's my ears!!

Re: New single - 'Our Love Will Change The World'

Whilst it was good news for the single to part of Radio 2's playlist, it is the C playlist with the A playlist being the one the presenters play the most. Alice has been selected to remain on the C playlist for a second week. 'Our Love...' was played 3 times over the course of the week, maybe it wil...

Re: New single - 'Our Love Will Change The World'

I like this song; it reminds me of the band Jellyfish (Eric Dover played guitar and keyboards when Jellyfish played live) and surprisingly the lyric video works, I have noticed on a few video releases recently this style of animation being used. For me, it cheers me up, especially living in this les...

I am not a fan of covers, but I am enjoying this one, I listened through headphones with the volume whacked up high!
The guitars sound great, and the solos are magnificent, and Alice sounds fresh and lively.
My only complaint is that it is a cover!

Re: Constrictor v RYFAY

It is great to hear Kane's musing on the background of the songs, really interesting! As for He's Back, it's a pop song, nothing more can be said....except my sister who didn't really like rock, loved the song when she heard it upon it's release, but I imagine people buying the album because of He's...

Re: New song and video "Don't give up" coming!

When I first heard this late last night, I really didn't like it! Having listened it more carefully and played it through my headphones at a louder volume, it has really grown on me!!!

How did the writing process work, did Alice have lyrics or were riffs brought to the sessions?

Re: Giant Baby

Or it could be that AC suffered a slight (or more severe) injury. Maybe they needed a bit more rehearsal?

Quite possibly and to be fair when you are confronted with an oversized infant, it is hard to estimate it's punching power!

Re: Giant Baby

I saw in another thread where the Giant Baby came out to frolic during School's Out at the most recent show. That's fantastic! The Giant Baby is to me the greatest prop since the Cyclops and ranks in the best Alice props ever! The potential with the Giant Baby is endless. They could have the Giant ...

The version of Steven is excellent, plus the baby was a great piece of theatre. From the videos posted and the setlist, I have to say I am feeling impatient for October to arrive!

Re: UK Ticket Sales

Just checked the O2 London site and there seems to be quite a lot of unsold seats, even in A1 and A3, I have bought A2 row C seat 37!
With all the fees the ticket was £65.25. so it might be worth checking out if you still need tickets!

Re: Urban Myths

I have watched it, didn't enjoy it, though I may try again. Noel Fielding just didn't cut it as Alice, his accent was not very good. The thing that really annoyed me was making Alice foul mouthed, as we know Alice avoids bad language, so that didn't sit with me well, a small point, but it really irk...
