Re: Lot of Originals

I see Cold Cold Coffin will be on YouTube on the 26th. I'm not sure what to expect but I will give it a watch. Cold Cold Coffin is marvellous, both sonically and visually (especially in a theatre). Well worth checking out on release date although Kickstarter supporters have been given access to vie...

Re: Tour 2018!

You might possibly be referring to a post she did on Instabook or Facetube (whatever it was) where she referenced a trip to get ice cream with her dad after a recent fall on stage. Worth pointing out though that it timed with the end of the 1st leg of the American tour so it may well have been back ...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

Some video has surfaced of Alice taking a tumble at the show the other night. He carried on though so seems to have avoided injury thankfully.

Re: New 10” record

20,000 copies, for now at least! Ear Music increased The Sound Of A production from 4,000 to 6,000 so I suspect Phil will be easily able to pick one up at his local HMV.

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

I’ll also be the first to whinge when someone sticks a camera phone up in the air at a show. Whenever I'm taking video, I try to be considerate and keep the phone as low as possible. I only took 2.5 songs and then some clips of a couple others. Some people will practically record the entire show, b...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

I have to confess to being a bit of a You Tube junkie. I do like trawling through to view historical concert footage etc.

I’ll also be the first to whinge when someone sticks a camera phone up in the air at a show.

I guess that makes me a total hypocrite :)

Re: Bob & Shep & Alice are ok

I believe and it is becoming more and more apparent that the original Alice Cooper band became a to big to fail corporate band during the making School’s Out. Bob, also would be judged as a producer by the bands output; Therefore he did what he needed to do not to fail by bringing in musicians to p...

Re: Rise - First reviews

Regarding Tommy. Lets be honest he's on to a good thing here. Joint writing credits on an album with Cooper, Perry and Depp whilst also producing it. It's only going to enhance his music production career. He also has a spoken part on Congratulations along with Alice, Joe and Johnny. Not a bad gig ...

Re: Unreleased Dick Wagner/Alice Cooper Songs

I see Maryann Cotton refereed to this, along with a photo of him and Alice, in a recent Facebook post: "Can’t wait for everybody to hear the songs you and Dick Wagner wrote for me!" I guess you could call him the ultimate Alice Cooper tribute act. Soldier Boy is his version of Wind Up Toy, It's All ...

Re: MEET AND GREETS

Does anyone know if M&G people will get early access to the standing Brighton show? The AEG website says they get a 'P1 General Admission Concert Ticket' whatever that is. I'm planning on queuing up early like I usually do for general admission shows, but it would be good to know if it will be worth...

Re: ACG

No please no. It just cheapens the branding of the name when you start having "Neil Smiths Alice Cooper Group" or "The Alice Cooper Group and..." or whatever route that could go down. I agree, something similar has happened with Saxon whereby there is a 'Saxon' and also an 'Oliver Dawson Saxon'. Th...

Re: New Sealed TLT Cassette Tape & Comic 4-Sale

I recall buying issues 2 and 3 from a comic shop in Salisbury, but can't remember how far apart the purchases were spaced. I didn't release that there were 2 versions of issue 1 until a number of years later. The 2014 and 2015 hardback compilations by Dynamite were really good. I managed to get both...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

How about Titanic Overture being used as a curtain raiser, possibly with a brief voice-over? Don't think that's too much of a stretch and at a high volume it would sound great. Also means they can tick off an obscure track before they get started. Agreed, it's always been the first track on my Alic...

Hopefully Blue Coupe comes over to the UK this year and I can catch him then. He seems like a nice guy as well. I'm hoping Dennis will come back to the UK too. Crazy to think that last time round you could meet him and Cindy, pose for photos and get a copy of his book dedicated to you for about £15...
