Pat Boone recorded an entire album of hard rock/metal songs titled "In A Metal Mood" iirc.
Was released in the mid-'90s. I have the CD. I listen to it at least once every 5 years whether I want to or not. "No More Mr. Nice Guy" is on it, along with all kinds of other cool songs.

The author goes over the qualifications for nomination, and as previously mentioned it certainly looks like Alice is, if anything, overqualified for selection. ...
