Re: Touring band to feature on next album!

I get the feeling for this to actually happen Bob Ezrin has to be well away from the project, hes too much of a dominant figure that gets what he wants. I can see alot of frustration between him his band with whats deemed good enough to produce and have on an album hes got his name on . At the end o...

Re: Detroit Stories Review

Like the actual Detriot today, Alice has become a former shell that can only live off his past. I'm going to be completely honest. This IS Alice Cooper now. And this IS the new Alice Cooper album. It's only one step above Paranormal..but what does that matter? Alice is constantly aiming for 1971 bu...

Re: Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, Edgar Winter North American T

Does Woman of Mass Distraction get much of a crowd pop at all? Just wondering why he keeps putting it in the setlist. I personally hate that song. Put Dirty Diamonds back in if you must. The interaction with Nita is obviously something Alice likes, and after seeing the show last night quite a lot a...

Re: Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, Edgar Winter North American T

Expected Dwight fry and not a pointless Nita solo and extended halo of flies instrumental in such a limited set time thats for sure. And yeah women of mass you would think would be one of the fist to go on a shortened set Nita's solo is less then 2 mins and serves as an intro to 'Poison'. It doesn`...

Re: Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, Edgar Winter North American T

For me he could drop brutal planet as an opening song : too long to maintain the attention imo, certainly for people not familiar with BP. I like the song buh not to start a gig . Sidenote:in the last Dp cd there is also an interesting dvd showing how it al works Bob ezrin in it too. It was a great...

World needs guts was one of the best things to happen with the current set, I would have cut mass destraction .

Re: New album sales

I'm not seeing Alice on the billboard charts in the US. What am I missing ? I believe, if I am not mistaken, the official U.S.charts are announced to the public on Tuesdays. The record label apparently got the numbers early. Yeah it will be updated Tomorrow and looking at that earmusic post it will...

Re: New album sales

Alice Cooper's new album "Paranormal" reached great chart positions all over the world! - Germany: #4 (highest chart entry in 45 years since the classic “School’s Out”) - Australia: #4 (highest chart entry in 39 years). - Belgium: #5 - UK: #6 (highest chart entry in 23 years) / #1 Rock Charts #1 ind...

Re: New album sales

Despite what Alice may say only getting a 1st week sale projection of 11-12,000 in a country the size of America is pretty pathetic and further sums up his dying fan base there.

Re: New album sales

Has anybody seen stores with physical copies in the U.S.? Not one store in Birmingham, AL has one. I was going to buy a vinyl if I saw one local. Will probably still buy one from Amazon at some point. Ameoba records in hollywood had everything standard cd, box set, black and red vinyl and the shelv...

Re: More tracks to hear...

Using the intro part multiple times makes the song disjointed and kills the flow.

I agree with guttertrash it sounds like multiple ideas cut and pasted to make one song, Erin is definitely sterile these days

Re: More tracks to hear...

The track has a good feel to it. Some of the stops and differences in tempo do feel a bit jarring. I think the main vocal ideas are good and i like the rock guitar passage towards the end. I think it's a grower. Thats the most annoying part, it's OK to have the intro, but to repeat it after the fir...
