Re: SUCK in Theaters--Sep. 2 (US, at least)

Although VA was TOD poor, it apparently was SUCK rich. I did catch the movie here in VA Saturday night. I do have to say BRAVO and I am going to have to get it on DVD so I can watch it again. I had honestly thought the movie was going to be cheezy and ill done, but it surely was not. The CG effects ...

Re: Richmond

Yup we got us some Alice. I can still hear the music and see Alice's face in my mind. He was so close--mesmerizing. I bounced up and down and begged for goodies from the stage. Keri Kelli noticed my glowing-bracleted hand reaching out to him and he tried to deposit one guitar pick into my palm. I di...

Re: The squeeky wheel gets the grease !!

Thank you for your well wishes. I dont know how I would have gotten through the night with Alice playing in WI tonight if the news had not broken about Alice in VA. DA's whining would have been enough to shatter my wine glass.

What does the kid want--time to stand still so Alice wont age and get a "turkey neck?" And awwww the poor thing--he has a guest pass and actually has to wait without anything to do before meeting the band. Should he have been served finger sandwiches and tea with the Queen while he waited, maybe tha...

I am glad that Matt gave a little more information regarding the origin of the lyrics to the parody. When I first heard it, I assumed that Alice himself had either written them for shock value or just "winged it" blurting out anything that came to mind at the moment. I giggled and was enthused, assu...

Translation I am curious, how many have had their pictures taken with Alice in character with makeup on like this--->:alice: and in stage clothes. I do not have one. (sorry couldn't resist, I do this stuff for a living) In answer to the question at hand, I do not have any pictures of myslef with Ali...

They only real “shock rock” aspect of KISS is that Gene Simmons’ character was a demon personified and spewed blood and fire. I have seen a video in which Gene was interviewed and attempted to act like a demon during the interview. It didn’t go over real well and ended up being kind of awkward. Is ...

My overall feeling is of disappointment after hearing ACAS as a whole, in that the general style of the music is "a bit soft"—for some reason the Partridge Family pops into my head while listening to ACAS. Perhaps it is because Alice's vocals are somewhat buried within several other background voice...

I agree--it just drives me nuts to know that there is a song out there that I cant access even though I bought the CD as soon as it came out. I have to shout a big NO FAIR to that one and I probably wont rest until it is loaded into my mp3 player. :(

Definately the shock factor for me. Nothing is better than listening to a song and just busting out laughing because the lyics are so subtly sick. I can listen to a song 100 times then pick on the meaning of a lyric that I had missed before and bust out laughing. Alice's stage antics with Cold Ethy...

The Sharpest Pain is by far the better track. It is a better fit with the other tracks on the album as well. btw--I certainly hope that I am wrong in the opinion that The Sharpest Pain was not included on the more accessible albums in order to cause the hardcore fans to buy both versions of DD. I d...
