Re: Canadian Rocker Lee Aaron Covers Is It My Body
My first-listen opinion is that she's trying a bit too hard with the vocal. Needs to be less shouty, more sleazy. That's my take too. Aaron is a very good singer. I am familiar with a lot of her work but I don't think she hit the mark on this one. I was listening to some of the other covers she did...

Canadian Rocker Lee Aaron Covers Is It My Body
I am not sure if anyone has heard this yet but Canadian rocker Lee Aaron just released a new cover album and has covered "Is It My Body." I don't know if many of you know about Lee Aaron in the UK. She never really toured here in the United States a ton either. She has mostly toured Canada and is ve...

Re: Yep. Here we are.
Very unpopular opinion but I have never been crazy about the possibility of an all original band album. I just think that ship has long long sailed. If it was even attempted (there is some debate if an entire album has been completed or not), it will be compared to the early 70s albums. Does anyone ...

Re: Yep. Here we are.
This is just my personal opinion and I have nothing to actually base it on but I would be surprised if there is a new album this year. Alice hasn't really promoted his Road album a ton. He currently is only doing one song off of the album. I think the focus this year will be, even only doing one new...

Re: Unleashed Spirits
This is just me thinking outloud but a few observations. The Hollywood Vampires sort of have an interesting trajectory in my opinion. They have only put out two albums, one almost entirely covers and the other almost entirely original material. It is kind of interesting, the popularity they have con...

Re: Alice band members past and present best albums
Besides Alice's long solo career (which I enjoy even more than the original band as great as they are), here goes with the other members. With the original guys, Dennis Dunaway's "Bones From the Yard" is a masterpiece. It legitimately could be an Alice album and it rocks from start to finish. If you...

Re: Alice UK presale 10am tomorrow
I will speak on the U.S. experience of Presales these days. There was a time, for a short while, that doing a Presale could score you some great seats and you know you were set. But these days that is long over. One, a lot of times Scalpers will buy up entire rows of seats and as Si said unless you ...

Re: Alice Songs That Went Over Well Live but Are Rarely Played
The only way to create new "stage favourites" is to play them live a fair amount. If you don`t play new songs for more than a few months and then drop them forever, they can NEVER become new stage hits. Of course that still doesn't mean it works for every song, but if you don`t play them it can nev...

Re: Alice Songs That Went Over Well Live but Are Rarely Played
I can’t make up my mind on this. As has already been said, there are quite a few songs which just don’t get a reaction when played. Would the reputation of Alice’s shows stand up for long if 50% of the set fell into that category. I suspect audiences on subsequent tours might dwindle quite quickly....

Re: Alice Songs That Went Over Well Live but Are Rarely Played
Model citizen was superb live as was grim facts. The last temptation tour is the only one I have missed so I would love to hear sideshow. Would also love to hear public animal no. 9 again. You know it's funny. When Alice played Public Animal No.9 and Long Way to Go back in 2016, I was very surprise...

Re: Alice Songs That Went Over Well Live but Are Rarely Played
Hello Hooray featured as an opener on both the Bare Bones / The Eyes Of Alice Cooper (2003 to 2004) and Raise The Dead (2012 to 2015) tours. The rare live tracks I really liked were Wind Up Toy, Gutter Cat vs. The Jets (with the street fight) and Dragontown. Good grief you are right. The sad thing ...

Re: 2024
I actually like shows where there are multiple bands but frankly I would love to see Alice go back to doing tours where he has an opener play 35-45 minutes and then he does a full show.

Alice Songs That Went Over Well Live but Are Rarely Played
Whenever Alice is off tour, it is always a good time for the random question. I was thinking about songs that Alice played perhaps only on one tour or hasn't played in years that always got good crowd responses. Are there any songs that the crowd reacted to positively (not necessarily your own prefe...

New Beasto Blanco First Single Out
I hope its okay to post this but considering Chuck Garric is Alice's long-time bass player and of course Calico is Alice's daughter, it seems appropriate. Beasto Blanco has released the first single of their upcoming album, I personally love it because I like a lot of heavier music. I have always th...

Re: The 'Secret' Next Album
Just throwing it out there... no one has said that any future band album will actually be the next album released... Just saying. Absolutely. Plus even if the next one is a band album, I think people are assuming that means sometime later this year. Alice didn't really promote last year's Road albu...

The Beginning of the Comeback of Alice Cooper (1986)
Hey everyone. This question is aimed for those of us who have been an Alice fan since at least the mid 80's. While most would cite 1989 as Alice's true comeback due to the tremendous success of the Trash album, it was really 1986 when the comeback began. Constrictor, while not a major hit, did okay ...
