Re: Interesting (from Popoff book)

Not to mention outside of Alice himself, no one gets louder cheers than Nita. She and Alice were featured on the cover of Guitar World magazine. When she appeared on some WWE broadcast it showed Alice Cooper guitarist. She has helped Alice publicity wise. She has been a true asset to the band and ca...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

Are there any songs that AC has never played live that you'd love to hear? I don't think he's ever played "this maniac's in love with you" "why trust you" or "hell is living with out you" live. Or "might as well be on mars" or "little by little" for that matter. There are many as I am a bigger fan ...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

This would be y dream set list, though I imagine others might hate it. House of fire. He's back Time to kill The hurricane years 18 Little by little The world needs guts Billion dollar babies Spark in the dark Freedom No more mr nice guy It's me Brutal planet Wind up toy Bed of nails Snakebite Cold...

Re: Interesting (from Popoff book)

[Why do you assume the band want to make a 70s sounding record? I know Alice live is a nostalgia act but we shouldn't assume the band want to just sound retro. Alice has said in the past that he wants a Killer sound to an album so it might get a little confusing. I would be happy as I'm sure many ot...

Re: Interesting (from Popoff book)

I guess this is my question and I think Si did an excellent job in his commentary. Where does it end? Let's say the original band does 4-5 full shows. Are people content with going to New York, L.A., London to see this? Because the average rock fan has basically always considered Alice a solo artist...

Re: ACG

Alice Cooper (the group) is done (for now). If it was to ever come back it would be with only 1 lead singer and sadly for ACG I imagine a large majority of concert goers would not see the hype or even know any different. Same thing applies to the solo band. I sure wouldn’t notice if that guitar pla...

Re: ACG

If Alice played a set on the same night as the remaining 3 original guys plus 2 more, I’d personally pick The Mike, Dennis and Neal show. My first Alice concert was in 1975, never had the chance to see the original band and was in The States when they done their recent reunion tour. I would be the ...

Re: Interesting (from Popoff book)

I don't know how many of you are familiar with a guy named Eddie Trunk. He does a couple of shows on Sirius XM radio, used to work for a record company, and was on VH1 Classic. He has a lot of opinions on the world of rock and I think he pretty much nailed it regarding an ACG reunion and why it isn'...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

I love that period too 86-2000, it is my favorite eras of Alice. The Live in the Flesh (Raise Your Fist and Yell tour) was some kind of good. RYFAY, Hey Stoopid, and The Last Temptation are three of my favorite Alice albums ever.

Re: Vampires Who's Laughing Now?

I agree with Si and there was no real push here in the United States either. One, Alice didn't even tour on ZCS or Dada so you had no publicity there. Two, hard rock was really struggling at the time and that is how Alice was seen. Here in the United States even a band like KISS for a while was havi...

Re: Vampires Who's Laughing Now?

I love all eras of Alice but my favorite eras are from 1986 to 2000. Prefer those to the original band and the early solo bands. Just a matter of personal tastes and dont see all those songs as "dumbed" down. The hair band albums were what was current at the time. It is the music business and I lov...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

If Alice played Freedom and snake bite this tour I would literally cream in my pants! Being a newbie to this board, and this year being my first AC concert, I wanted to ask you guys a question... Are the albums "Trash" and "hey stoopid" frowned upon by some of the more old school AC fans? I've seen...

Re: Vampires Who's Laughing Now?

Well I sat up on a school night expecting a lot more. I really thought that there would be interviews with the band and more tasters of the album. The first song hasn't blown me away. Kind of reminds me of brutal planet a bit. Still the album list looks great and I am happy they are covering 'heroe...

Re: Vampires Who's Laughing Now?

Alice has stated Johnny Depp and Joe Perry wrote most of the lyrics on the album as Alice was busy touring. Not a bad song but I do wish it had a bit more of a metal sound. Still I like it though.

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

Since Alice's first show of the year is coming up in about 3 weeks in Mexico, do you all think that he will play some rarities at this show? Or wait until the first US show at Foxwoods in Connecticut (one im going to ) , and play rarities at the Connecticut official kicKoff of the Tour at this show...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

Questions for you all, since this is a new stage show starting out on the ol'blackeyesisback tour what are some new stage props you would like to see added for the new Tour? Be creative. Also what would be your dream setlist of rarities for Alice to play during this tour as well? Also when the Mexi...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

I'm going to see Alice for the first ever time in Manchester this year, despite being a fan of his since Trash came out. I was eight years old at the time and completely obsessed with Trash and the follow up album Hey stoopid. I know there's going to be a change in the setlist, but honestly... I'd ...

Re: New Kane Roberts and Alice material 2019

I preordered the album and had it delivered the day it came out. I like the album. Granted it is definitely a modern sounding album but there is some really good material on it. Nita Strauss plays on a track as well and Kip Winger, who of course played for Alice back in the day plays bass on a lot o...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

The band put first in advertising even on a coheadling situation almost always goes on last. In fairness to Halestorm fans and I am familiar with their music and I do like the tough girl bands but find Halestorm fairly generic but like a few of their songs, is if Alice went on before them I would le...
