Dick Wagner has posted the following update to his
website:
"Sorry to be so negligent, but I've found myself being really busy lately and have mostly forgotten that some of you want a health update. It's getting pretty bad when y'all care more about me than I obviously do. My health is on the upswing...my left arm is improving a lot, no guitar playing yet but it is just a matter of time and the therapy will have brought me back to the stage again. How well I will be able to play is unknown but I will be thankful for every note acheived . Thanks for all the well wishes and yes...I love you too."
(Thanks Brenda)
Further to the old news story about the 'Declare Yourself' project to get various artists to re-record 'I'm Eighteen' to encourage kids to register to vote, the first cover version has arrived by rapper Sean Kingston. You can hear it
here but be warned, it's attrocious!
There's been a fair amount of coverage of the Bridgestone Tire advert in the press, mostly pretty positive. The
Outsports article is worth mentioning, firstly because it reports that the advert is getting heat from the gay comunity with claims it's homophobic (?!), and secondly because it's an easy way to watch the advert!
SpiegelOnline has a new article on Alice, in German.
(Thanks Jörn)
Avantasia main man Tobias Sammet has been talking about his new album and Alice's involvement in it during an interview posted
here.
(Thanks Andrew)
