Alice Cooper has been announced as performing at the 2017 Wacken Open Air festival in Germany. The exact day hasn`t been released but the festival runs between August 3rd and August 5th and as there is already a show in Hungary on the 3rd , that obviously leaves August 4th or 5th.

Alice And Shep at Pollstar Live

It's all been a little quiet this week since the last show announcements but here's a couple of things worth reporting:

Alice and Shep are set to be keynote speakers at 'Pollstar Live 2017!' which takes place in Los Angeles between January 31st and February 2nd, and it looks like they will appear on February 1st. The title of their event is "Shep Gordon and Alice Cooper: A 47 Year Conversation" so sounds like a repeat of the Bootleg Theater event a few weeks ago. The industry event is aimed at the Concert industry.

Epiphone Guitars feature Ryan Roxie and the Epiphone guitars he's been using on stage this past year. Expect more from this partnership in the coming year.

Neal Smith's movie "Desolation Angeles/Rise of the BOAS" gets it's world premiere on December 28th at the Bijou Theatre (275 Fairfield Ave.) in Bridgeport, CT. Admission free although a donation is encouraged. Quote: Smith wrote the title song for the film and plays a ruthless Russian mob boss in a full-length black-and-white production based on morality issues rooted in classical Greek mythology."

Steve and Karen Hunter have created a new 'GoFundMe' page where you can pledge your support for Steve's forthcoming new album, entitled 'Before The Lights Go Out'. The campaign features many of the usual incentives, as well as a few extra special ones like Tommy Henriksen's stage pants, and a signed Jason Becker guitar pedal!
To further the fund raising (which also helps with Steve's bills now he can no longer tour or work without assistance) there is an Ebay auction for a one-of-a-kind 'Loic Le Pape Mosteel J.Ramone tribute guitar'. The instrument has been donated by Tommy Henriksen, who played it at this years Christmas Pudding show, and is signed by many of the guests at that show including Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, Joe Perry, Sammy Hagar, Tommy Henriksen, and Bob Ezrin, as well as Steve himself. The auction has about a day to run so be quick if you are interested!

New Show - Sweden

Alice Cooper is returning to the Grona Lund in Stockholm, Sweden on July 27th. Admission comes free with entry to the park so presumably you can buy advanced park tickets now.
UPDATE: There is also a show at Liseberg amusement park in Gothenburg on July 26th.

I've been having a few computer problems here (basically my laptop died on me) so you may have seen coverage of the Xmas pudding show already, but from what I can tell it was again a huge success with the Hollywood Vampires (with Glen Sobel on drums) headlining with a set that opened with 'Raise The Dead', ran through many of the songs from the album, and closed with Run, Rudolph, Run'.
You can read a full review courtesy of AZ Central, while Phoenix New-Times has lots of photos and a review of their own. They also have photos from CO-OP's CD launch show, last Friday during which Alice joined the band for 'I'm Eighteen' and 'School's Out'.
