Glen Injured, Mover Steps In
A message from Alice:
"Glen Sobel's been having neck problems and has been playing the shows in a lot of pain, so he needs to take a short break to heal. Luckily for us, and for you, Jonathan Mover (from the "Trash"tour and the "Trashes The World" live concert video) was available to help out on short notice. We rehearsed with him yesterday and we're all excited about tonight's show in Camden with him. Hopefully Glen will be back soon."
Said Glen: "I'll be off the Alice tour for a few weeks. I've played the last several shows on pain meds due to an inflamed neck situation. We've had some of the best shows on tour with Iron Maiden, so I wanted to do everything I could to stay in the game. I need to get back to LA, have this treated, and then return to finish out our tour dates. In the meantime my main man Jonathan Mover (an Alice band alumni) will be sitting in the drum throne covering for me. I have the utmost confidence that he will deliver the goods along with all my brothers (and sister) in the Alice band. Don't worry about me, I'll be back sooner than later."
-------
Best wishes Glen, hope you get well soon!

Chuck also sent in a report from the road over at Lip Service with rehersal photos.

The Bonaroo festival last week created a LOT of press, mainly centered around the surprise inclusion of Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' to close the show which brought the house down, especially when the 'FrankenGaga' appeared. There's lots of footage up on Youtube as the entire show was streamed the following night (and its possible it will be repeated at some point if you missed it). Even Gaga herself tweeted "I am not worthy, Sire. The way he changed the words to be about him was so rad. I want to hang out with #Frankengaga!".
Most of the press repeated the same stuff but a few had quotes or something different either before or after the show including: Memphis FlyerUSA Today and here, Examiner.com, Fuse, and Aceshowbiz.

The Alice Facebook page posted photos from the rehersals in Biloxi.
