Can You Help?
Just a quick update from the road. Many of you will know Bill Crowe, superfan and supplier of the snake, Dali, which Alice uses in the UK and Europe. While in London Bill's van was stolen, and inside was a great deal of Alice memorabilia as well as personal items. As many of these items would ONLY be of interest to a bigtime Alice Cooper fan we ask if everyone could keep their ears and eyes open for any of the following, especially if you are offered them for sale. Leather Jacket signed by all the band, 'Living Dead Souls' embelished coat, Alice style Stove Pipe hat, A4 signed photos of Alice and the band, W2MN signed vinyl, Steve Hunter signed original albums. There was lots more but these are the things Bill has listed so far. Luckily 'Dali' was at the hotel and so safe, but we would love to catch these creeps so if anyone does happen to hear anything please let us know and we can pass info onto Bill and the police. Thanks.

Alice Cooper is guest hosting on the show 'Nevermind The Buzzcocks' next week (1st Nov) and they are looking for fans to come along to sit in the studio audience and support the man himself... if you would like more details please contact chris.kearsey@talkbackthames.tv for tickets.

Nov 16 Yardbirds, Grimsby, United Kingdom
Nov 17 ABC2, Glasgow, United Kingdom
Nov 18 O2 Academy 2, Liverpool, United Kingdom
Nov 19 Rock City, Nottingham, United Kingdom
Nov 20 O2 Academy 2, Sheffield, United Kingdom
Nov 21 Islington 02, Academy Islington, United Kingdom

There is also a "chance to win 2 tickets to the town of your choice to Casablanca's November UK tour! Please name at least 2 other 'band names' that the band members of Casablanca are also associated with..... Please email answers and first + last name to michael@theunit.se including which town you´d prefer tickets to"

Planet Rock Today
Alice will be the guest on Planet Rock's Morning show at 10AM today. Sorry for the late notice, but it should be available to listen again later in the day.

According to The Argus Alice will be the guest of Mike Weatherley MP (Member of Parliment) today at the House Of Commons, home of the UK government. Weatherley, the MP for Hove, is known for his support of rock and metal music.

There's an Alice review/article in Goedgelovig which looks like it's in Germanic language. There's also an Itallian album review here.

Lastly, it's UK tour time again so we're off on the road for the next week. As always you can keep you eyes on the forums for news updates that I may not be able to post before they happen.
Happy Halloween everyone!

Painting A Picture
From the Alice Cooper facebook page: "While in Australia Alice was given an Airbrush Painting of himself by a fan. Alice has donated it for an auction to benefit Tomas Jovic, a 7-year-old Australian boy who has been fighting cancer since 4 years of age. He has now been diagnosed with aggressive leukaemia. It's a great piece of original art for any Alice fan, and it's been signed by the entire current touring band, let's get Tomas as much money as we can. His family needs help Sick Things!" You can bid on the painting now on ebay.

Alice will be on UK daytime show 'Loose Women' at 12.30 on Monday 24th October. Before that he'll be a guest on 'The Danny Baker Show' tomorrow at 9am on BBC Radio 5 Live, which is likely to be available to "listen again" shortly after.
UPDATE: Apparently the Danny Baker show interview is NEXT Saturday, 29th, not 22nd, despite what it indicated on the site.

Mojo magazine has a Q & A with Alice as well as a self portrait.

There's been some Austrian press as well the last couple of days including an interview at Kleine Zeitung as well as some photos, another interview (unfortunatly dubbed) at ORF TV, the front cover of Planet.tt magazine (.pdf), and two sets of photos from the show here and here.

Behind The Scenes at Universal
Universal have posted a behind the scenes video of the Halloween attraction with designer John Murdy taking Alice himself through the haunted house.

The Guardian seem to have managed to interview both Alice and Ke$ha at the same time about their relationship and the new album.

AsiaOne and Today Online have reviews of the Singapore show.

The 'Making Monsters' show previously mentioned is due air this Sunday at 8pm on The Travel Channel in the USA. You can check out a brief advert here.

Something I seemed to have forgotten to post to the news page recently is the YouTube vids featuring a Glen Sobel drum-cam! You can see Glen playing up close on various songs from the current show, as well as other drumming clips. Check them out here.

New Book
A new book entitled "Backstage: All Access" by Larry Singer is now available from AmazonUS and AmazonUK. Described as "Behind-the-scenes iconic images of some of the greatest rock and roll stars of all time" the book features a front cover of Alice plus rare images of big names from the 70s and 80s, including Alice of course.

The 'Alice-Stein' monster from the current show was featured on The Travel Channels 'Making Monsters' and you can see a preview of the show on YouTube with brief glympses of them painting the head and the monster on stage.

Alice did a short Twitter interview session with fans on Tuesday late in the night (they're on Singapore time) but I heard about it too late to let anyone knew. You can still see the answers to the questions though here.

Orianthi has posted a short video from Singapore showing her and the band just saying "hi". You can also check out a "sneak peek" of Orianthi recording her new EP, "Fire", which will be released soon.

There is now an official UK/European Alice Cooper webstore where you can get tour merchandise you may have missed at the shows.

The West have another brief interview with Alice as does Asia-City.com.

Channel News Asia have a few words with Orianthi.

AZCentral have an article about the Universal Theater attraction with words from Alice.

There's a review of the Singapore show at Live4Music with video and photos, and another review at ChannelNewsAsia.

Noisecreep are offering the chance to win a signed 'Welcome 2 My Nightmare' Fender Telecaster guitar. It's open to anyone and all you haveto do is fill in a form, which sounds easy, but they need a telephone number and it doesn`t seem to accept UK numbers. Ho humm.

There's more Cooper content in the next issue of Sweden Rock, part two of the two part article that started last month.

The band line up for Dick Wagners' upcoming shows in November includes a familiar name: Prakash John! The legendary 'Welcome To My Nightmare' bassist will join a line up that also includes: Jordon John, Ray Goodman, Al Bondar, Brian Bennet, and Dennis Burr. Bobby Rigg of The Frost (Dick's pre-Cooper/Reed band) will be making a guest appearance in Saginaw.

Orianthi's Elevator Adventures
AC.com have posted some cool background info about the recent shows, including Orianthi breaking a hotel lift! They say: "Yesterday in Perth Alice and I were coming into the hotel from the airport and were on our way to start some interviews, and we see the hotel staff rushing around... Apparently, Ori was trapped in an elevator between the 2nd and 3rd floor, and it had DROPPED 4 floors before stopping there.  Our thoughtful crew guys and Karen Hunter patiently hung out at the elevator doors for an hour and a half while the engineers tried to open the doors, chatting with her and trying to keep her mind on other things... Elevator music can be lethal in large doses you know...  She was in there so long that eventually they decided to pump some oxygen into the elevator, just in case, but there was little danger of her running out of air, or of the pure oxygen reacting with Ori’s astonishingly blonde hair.  She finally made it out in good spirits, and the hotel comped her stay, upgraded her and comped all of her food and drinks... Pretty good idea Ori, I’m going to remember that. I’m on to your tricks..."
Lots more news from Australia at AC.com.

As mentioned a couple of days ago Alice is mentoring contestants for the Australian version of 'X-Factor and apparently he will be seen on the show tonight and tomorrow (presumably with repeats over the week).

Solid Rock have announced a few more details about his years Pudding show which takes place on December 17th at the Comerica Theatre in Phoenix. "This year’s show welcomes the return of a Pudding favorite, magician and comedian Murray Sawchuck, who will emcee this magical evening once again!  Details of this highly anticipated event, including an all-star lineup of musicians, dancers, and comedians, will be available soon." This years 'Proof Is In The Pudding' competition is also underway, to find acts to perform at the show, and you can get more info at their site.

New Straits Times and Channel News Asia have a few words with Alice for the Singapore show.

K-Hits has photos from the Melbourne show, while The West has a review of the Perth show last night as well as another short interview.

There's a very cool video of Blue Coupe playing 'I'm Eighteen' at The Rhino in Buffalo with special guest Mike Marconi from the 'Billion Dollar Babies' band and 'Battle Axe' album.

Dick Wagner has posted links to two free songs on his Facebook page. The first is a version of the blues classic 'Stormy Monday' featuring Dick, Steve Hunter and Donny Hartman. The second is a demo version of new arrangement of 'Sweet Jenny Lee' for band rehearsals in Detroit in November.
