"Phillips-Van Heusen and Tehama plan to launch their jointly designed IZOD-G brand of fashion-forward performance apparel for golf with an invitation-only kick-off party at the 2005 PGA Show that will feature a live concert by rock legend Alice Cooper. One year ago, Phillips-Van Heusen and Tehama announced their plans to join forces with Izod G, a line of contemporary and technically superior sportswear for golf. Today, the two companies confirm industry expectations that their alliance has been successful."

"This past Friday night, Alice Cooper rocked the House of Blues for the better part of 90 minutes. Included in the set was a 2005 version of his classic "School's Out" that had Izod G staff members dancing on stage. A few hours earlier in the day, Cooper, the original shock rocker, was in the Izod G booth in the Orange County Convention Center quietly talking and signing autographs for customers. Just your average, diminutive 50-ish family man and golf nut interacting other golf nuts. " (PGA.com)
